Loved that it was located right in Kyoto station with the station directly beneath our hotel floor, and we couldn’t hear or feel a single train! Best sleep in a while!

The room is really big with a tatami area where you can relax. You can move the beds around easily. Everyone in the front desk speaks fluent English. It has an old school key lock. It only has roughly 12 rooms. So even though it only has 1 washer, it was empty every time we have to use it. It also had an ice and water machine. It is in a quiet neighbourhood that is close to many shrines. The only minor complaint I have is there was a weird smell coming from either the washroom or the shower room. We had to turn the exhaust fan on the entire time to get rid of it. Also the TV was positioned in away such that it took me 5 minutes to connect the HDMI.

Cannot enjoy the onsen
"Although this hotel is not new, general is okay. This only disappointment is about the onsen. The photo shows the size is okay but it’s really small. 5 places for shower and onsen can aloe 4 people inside only."
