Being old and listed also means that modern features like double glazing and air conditioning are not present and we stayed on one of the hottest days of the year. Our room was very hot but a fan was provided and we were able to have an open window. There is a good size car park at the rear of the Inn. Food and service were superb."

"Brilliant overnight stay. Very close to the road, so a little noisy as we had to have the windows open. Shower had a very weak flow. Breakfast wad lovely, hot and fresh. Staff, very polite and helpful. We felt having to pay to park at the hotel we were staying in was unnecessary, it should be included in the stay. Few negatives, but would definitely stay again"

"Our room and bathroom was clean and comfortable. Only had a 1 night stay, tv, tea and coffee making facility in room, lots of storage space. Breakfast self service buffet was good, plenty to choose from. Good place for plane spotting, but our room was back of hotel so the plane noise wasn't a problem, maybe as the planes were coming into Gatwick and not taking off in our direction. All on all, happy with stay. Checking in was quick and easy. Staff all pleasant."
