"The room was modern, clean and well maintained. The bathroom area was somewhat disjointed and small. The modern way the facility was maintained with pads to request service and housekeeping did not work. When we requested our room to be made up and towels exchanged it did not happen, yet the computer showed we did request it. I'm not sure if it was electronic request or human error. The hotel was conveniently located a mere 5-10 minute walking distance from the train station and old town with lots of eating options. Zurich is not a town for the budget minded traveler unless you are willing to eat fast food."

"Hotel Allegra was a wonderful place to stay for our one night in Zurich to fly back home after a trip to Switzerland, France, and Germany. The family rooms were huge and able to accomidate our 5. The rooms were clean and the water was hot and plentyful. The proximity to the airport was great (5 min). Sadly the tram was closed, but the uber was quick. The price was the only thing reasonable in Switzerland! I would recommend this hotel to any families headed to the airport. Thank you, Allegra!"

"Nice hotel a little bit outside of central Zurich. Staff, including Seki, were top notch. Cool vibe overall with a lounge that made some of the best cocktails I’ve had in a while. It’s an easy trip to and fr The airport via train/tram. Just take the train from the airport to the main station, walk about three minutes to the 13 tram and then you’re basically there —28 minutes from the airport for 7 francs —$9 usd. Would stay again."
