I am a manual wheelchair user and booked a Sunrise Corner Room because the photos showed a fully accessible bathroom. The actual room was exactly as shown in the photos with roll in shower, shower chair, grab bars and roll under sink. The location was easy to get to by public transport. It is across the street from the Zurich Flurstrasse bus stop or 3 minutes from the Kappeli tram stop.

A first experience in Zurich and a very pleasant stay at Placid Hotel. The front desk Staff was top notch! My room was very clean, spacious and had lots of natural light. I worked remotely in my room for hours each day and was happy to enjoy the view while I worked. I couldn't find a single reason to complain. It was conveniently located a block or so from the tram for easy access to all of the other points of interest in Zurich.

Room was clean and cleaned everyday with fresh bedding and towels. Coffee pods and tea were also replenished daily. Staff helpful, booked airport transfer at far cheaper price than online. Room has tablet where all info is available, and internet and games on it. Great views, feels very new and modern. Overall excellent stay.

The hotel's design is nice and modern. Rooms are very clean. But the rooms are far from comfortable to stay in. There is no air conditioning in this very modern hotel. Also, there are hardly any electrical sockets in the room, and the ones that there are are in odd places, making it hard to charge and work with laptops.

The location is convenient for those working in the Schlieren area, while also offering easy access to the city via public transport. The fitness-room is a definite plus and well maintained. Lovely, knowledgeable staff at the front desk and a nice quiet location within walking distance of the tram. The bedroom was clean and tidy with modern facilities. The bed frame could have been a bit sturdier as it moved around slightly, but the movable tray attached to the bed was really useful. I actually booked the hotel after seeing it recommended on social media, and overall I had a good stay.

Hotel was nice and mostly well maintained (except some stains in the bathroom). From the hotel position it's easy to reach the center with a direct tram. Not much space for free parking near the hotel unfortunately and you end up to pay a lot daily just for the parking fee. Nice view from the high rooms, even if it's in an office/industrial area.

What a gorgeous hotel. Everything is so modern and clean. The only drawback was location. It really wasn't close to walking things- but if you are taking public transportation it would be fine. But hard to "pop out" and grab some dinner or ice cream- it would take a longer committment.

Great room, clean and quiet. Just be aware that their is no wall for the shower. Breakfast is expensive (but everything is expensive at Zürich) location was not the best, need to use the tram for transportation, it’s about 25 min away from main attractions. Never felt unsafe.
