"Alison was such a kind and generous host. The cottage was a perfect country break that was peaceful and homely. The cottage had everything we needed and was a good base to explore cradle mountain from. We picnicked in the yard overlooking mountain ranges, and my girls loved exploring the area and finding all sorts of animals. Would happily recommend Buttons Cottage for a quiet stay to help life slow down and connect with family."

"We had a wonderful stay here. Everything we needed was there. Sarah was a great host and very accomodating. The only thing I would criticise would be that one of the bedrooms only had sheer curtains so was very bright in the morning."

"The cottage was perfect. Quite, secluded, well appointed, clean. We had a 1 night stay after hiking all day. The only sound was bird song. We had an outdoor bath and a warm shower and a wonderful dinner by the fireplace. The listing undersells the kitchen: it is fully equipped and you could cook anything here. We kept it simple as we’d been hiking, but you could cook up a feast here."

"We absolutely loved our stay in Mole Creek. No one around but the stars and the bunny rabbits. The house was perfect! Lots of space, great appliances and a lovely big window in the bedroom to make sure you wake up to the beautiful view. We loved our stay and will definitely be back."

"Everything was provided we didn't want for anything. Lovely and clean and plenty of basics like tea and coffee were in plentiful supply. The host was friendly and welcoming .A beautiful comfortable house with incredible views in which ever direction you looked in."

"Over all very happy. A couple of reasons we will not go back -- 1. we are in our seventies and the steps are a bit dodgy especially with nectarines on them as they were when we were there. Get slippery when they rot. In saying that the gardener did come to clean them up -- 2 Once again with our age climbing into a bath to have a shower was a bit dodgy. Oh to be young again."

"We stayed at this great house for a family wedding. We had family traveling from the UK that arrived before check in and Chris was kind enough to let us check in a little early. The property is as described. Plenty of room and loved the deck. Aircon was very helpful as well. The grandkids loved the games room downstairs. The only downsides for us were there wasn’t enough forks (9 or 10) and crockery (plates). This meant we had to hand wash or use the dishwasher very frequently. Also the internet...

"Property is listed as pet friendly. When I booked I stated that we had 2 chickens in a pen, and they would stay in pen. was told thats alright. When we arrived, we were told that only 2 units are pet friendly and both of them booked and that the chickens had to stay in the car, that they were not permitted in the unit..... we booked and stayed 3 nights. and the chickens stayed in their pen.... which was fine, as we had no intention of letting them out, but why were we not permitted to have the...
