"Really good hotel, 8 minute walk from New Street Station. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was great,2 double beds, really spacious with tea and coffee making facilities. Would defo stay here again."

"Had a fantastic stay in Birmingham at the Holiday inn express. We were visiting as a family of 3 to go to Warwick Castle, Sea Life, cadburys world and a few meals out in the city centre. Anyways the Hotel was fantastic, massive shout out to Elsa (on the bar) Shadara (so sorry if I’ve misspelt your name) and Uma at breakfast. These 3 are complete superstars. From great service upstairs at the bar reception really nice with my little girl, and the same at breakfast. Will come back again due to the great service of these 3 epic ladies! Thanks again! "Efficient small rooms w a large social areas to acquire food and drinks. Good security for being less than 5 min walk to airport . Train to hotel is 10-15 min walk . Good value . "

"Overall this hotel is in a great location if you are attending an event at resorts world, and given that I would put up with it again, but I wouldn't stay at this property if I didn't have a need to. My main issue was the bed, even with a mattress topper it was hard. The mattress topper was also too short for the bed, so the pillow sank towards the headboard. Additionally the sheets were too short for the bed and spring free throughout the night. This resulted in me catching a glimpse of the mattress which was covered in black human hairs. There was also screws through the Lino in the floor and bath panel which I find to be rather unhygienic. I had room service, the staff were pleasant, but the food was no better than freezer food. "
