"My wife and I had an amazing stay for our honeymoon. The location is so peaceful, with the beach behind the hotel being so beautiful. The food prepared at the hotel was simply stunning! It really is the best hotel on Mawella beach (and maybe even in whole of southern province :) The hotel is beautifully and tastefully decorated, the staff are super friendly, including owner Xander, it's absolutely right on the beach , the food is great. "This is truly a lovely hotel, with a great pool and beach front. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and grounds are very well maintained. Entrance feels grand and welcome us very warm. "We had a wonderful stay at Seascape! We have stayed in the past and during its infancy. It just gets better each time! You are staying directly on a beautiful swimming and surfing beach. The sound of the waves lulls you to sleep at night. The staff, Senal, Nethmi & Kasun were incredible, attending to our every needs and always with a smile. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful. "We spent 3 days at this fabulous property. We loved the location - the sea was perfect for swimming and the pool was nice too. In front of the beach is a lovely lawned area with trees which is perfect for those of us who like a bit of shade. The rooms were large (we had a sea view room) and well equipped. You should be prepared to be self sufficient - the staff are inexperienced and shy so aren’t proactive in clearing tables or offering drinks - they prefer to hide inside. You have to ask...
