This is a lovely resort, and we had a wonderful stay. The beach is quite and the hotel is very relaxing and low key. The kitchen staff was accommodating as we are vegetarians. The hotel needs some maintenance- the paint was peeling and the furniture looks old and worn out.

Excellent location however property in great need of updating / renovation. Basics such as mosquito nets, had holes in so didn't work, and had a little trouble with communication (being English) which didn't experience at other more rural places. Breakfast very very basic and not great for children (only tea or coffee provided etc.)

Fantastiskt ställe för avkopplande semester!

Ett ljuvligt ställe på alla sätt och vis om man söker avkoppling. Otroligt fin stil på hela hotellet och många smakfulla detaljer. Fantastisk personal, grymt god mat och en underbar strand där vi var i princip ensamma. Hade bokat två nätter men förlängde till fem eftersom vi trivdes så bra och vi hoppas på att kunna åka tillbaka längre fram!

We really enjoyed our stay, staff were excellent, the food was generally really nice especially the Sri Lankan dishes. The place is very quiet, clean and calm. I highly recommend it for people who are trying to escape the daily rush. However, I advice to search this accommodation thru several different agents, as some of them might offer a very good discounts, which we couldnt get due to the booking with expedia.

Kanonställe. Helt underbar inomhusmiljö. Väldig öppen och speciell planlösning i allmänna utrymmet. Hit åker man helst utan småbarn. Njut av tystnaden i lobbyn.

Fabulous!

We spent 6 nights here and quite simply, it was the best. Situated on one of the last remaining unspoilt beaches in the South, Isana combines all the best qualities of a Boutique Hotel and the flexibility of a Home Stay. The family that manages and runs are so accommodating, Teckler creating beautiful meal after meal which we soon realised was much better than anything to be had in town. The owner has designed the hotel in a Japanese style that somehow creates privacy in your room or balcony and a garden that accommodates all. The sandy Beach is only shared by 3 other properties, the swimming is great, the surf gentle and the fishermen who were interesting, funny and thoroughly entertaining. No hassle, no hawkers, it was blissful! Much as I would like to keep this place as a secret to myself, with a new station at Belliata and the Highway being extended, this paradise won’t last for long, so you had better enjoy it whilst you can.

A Home Away from Home

Excellent boutique hotel tucked away from all the noises. Very quite, relaxed and comfortable. The chef is a lady who just love cooking. Strongly recommend other guests to try her interesting food.

notre coin de paradis

ce fut un réel coup de coeur! c est vrai que nous y étions en octobre donc hors saison touristique mais de telles prestations à ce prix ne peuvent que nous surprendre agréablement! le personnel est prévenant, serviable, d une extrême gentillesse, madame la cuisinière nous a concocté un repas excellent que nous avons pris sur la jolie terrasse, au bruit des vagues, il n y a que le jardin à traverser pour se retrouver sur une immense plage déserte à la baignade praticable! on a adoré!
