Old hotel in beautiful surroundings
From outside the hotel and the garden are very beautiful and relaxing but the rooms are old and need a total refreshment. Location is perfect and quiet and and part form the one person in reception and at breakfast the staff is very nice.
Great hotel, 5 minutes away from beach. Good breakfast included. Way more mellow than katu which was nice.

Extremely friendly staffs, beautiful natural environment, 3 minutes walk to the beach, 3 minutes walk to the main strip, quiet, peaceful, birds are singing on the balcony in the morning. Property is aged, cleanness is moderate.
Just stayed for one night as passing through the area. A nice hotel that is good value for money. We had room overlooking the garden and this was a nice place to sit outside the room and relax. The rooms were a little outdated, but we clean and comforable. Lack of electrical outlets in the room,

I loved my stay at Segara Agung. The staff and service were fantastic—welcoming, attentive, and even helped with my luggage up and down the stairs. The location is excellent, just one block from the beach, and I felt secure the entire time. Sanur is a calmer alternative to Canggu or Kuta—more laid-back vibes, couples in their 40s+, and chill evenings rather than all-night partying. It’s also conveniently about 30 minutes from the airport, and the hotel arranged seamless transportation both ways. Breakfast (included) was amazing every morning. The property has a beautiful pool, reliable hot water, high ceilings, and plenty of space to unpack. Everything worked, and I didn’t encounter any insects or animals. For value, it’s hard to beat: I stayed three nights for about $100, which felt like a steal for the area and proximity to the beach.
A note for travelers: this is an older structure (think pre-1920s style) with concrete/brick construction in a very humid climate. As a result, my room had a mild, musky smell that I’m told is common near the beach. The bathroom also had a slight odor at first—likely due to older pipes and very hard water—and for the first two days I kept the bathroom door closed. It improved over time. I don’t consider this a service issue; it’s more about the age of the building and local infrastructure, but it’s worth knowing if you’re sensitive to humidity or scents.
Bottom line: fantastic staff, prime location, great breakfast, great value. A+
Cinq minutes en vélo ou a pied de la plage et proche des restaurants. Très beau jardin et très calme avec une belle piscine. Nous recommandons vivement.
Stayed here 3 times and I think it’s the best place in Sanur and certainly best value. It’s beautiful and the staff is lovely. The pool is gorgeous. Although the breakfast buffet is good, I do wish is would change what is offered on occasion.
