"We had a great stay, and found the location to be very convenient to all the touristy stuff to do in Monterey. The grounds are beautiful and the staff was friendly. "

"The hotel is in a great location. The beds where clean and comfortable. The shower was ok. The amenities where terrible, soap and lotion containers are cheap. There was only one chair to sit on. The small television does not have Netflixs, HBO or a menu to see what is on. The saddest part of this hotel are the grounds, weeds, leaves, dying trees and shubs. The pool looks like it is 20 or more years old. We tried to get towels from the maid service but the maids were not there, the only person was the front desk and you have to leave your room to get the towels. I guessed the maids leave after 12noon. The cafe is a joke, the food was package cereal, bananas only for fruit and the coffee was bad. The deck above the garage is rotting. It was like the owners are trying to cut back on hospitality to make a bigger profit. "

"Check-in was easy. Parked at our door. The room was clean, new, updated, temp was easy to adjust, bed was very comfortable, quiet and very reasonably priced. Is there anything else. This is an updated motor lodge with the ease of unloading luggage literally feet from our room. I would definitely stay here again. "

"The location was extremely convenient to the whale watching on Fisherman's Wharf and shops around the area coffee shops restaurants. We loved the antique furniture and atmosphere was welcoming. We will stay there again due to location cleanliness price was right helpful staff."

"Loved the relaxed vibe of the lobby area and the open plan to the dining room. The cleaning staff did a great job on being efficient and quick when cleaning our room. Coffee dock did really nice coffee and quiche!"

"The place was good and clean but they charged me for something they don’t even know what it’s about. I called and said i was not charged for anything extra but my credit card was charged extra for 2 rooms that I booked. They said it will be reimbursed after 10days but it’s been more than that and they don’t even know what those charges are for."
