The room was very nice, the staff was helpful and nice. The hotel was close to the wharf and restaurants. It was strange not having any information about the hotel in the room. The other guests were loud so it was difficult to sleep.

My stay was comfortable and safe. I traveled alone(I am a woman)so safety is obviously a major concern to look into and I felt very safe there. I felt like at home, I saw nothing but families all around me. The street and outside area was also safe. The staff was very polite, patient and caring. The lady at the front desk gave warm vibes. The TV is a little out dated, nothing wrong with local TV, but if you are looking into streaming like YouTube or Netflix you won't be able to here. Other than that my sleep was so good, bed was comfy 😌

Spent a mere 24 hours at this location. Proprietors of the business seemed kind. Good location, central to all of the sights. Parking spaces were narrow but otherwise we were pleased. Rooms were updated and clean.

We love this little motel. It's near everything. It's clean and quiet. Staff is nice and friendly. Carmel is 10-15 minutes away. Monterey Bay is 10 minutes away close to PCH for your drive to Big Sur.

I stayed at the Arbor Inn for 4 nights, and it worked out well for me. I'm an artist who came into town for an opening in Carmel. I was in the last building on the 2nd floor. Though the place was full each night, there was plenty of parking. It seemed well constructed and quiet. My favorite part was the good, strong shower! I would recommend it for the budget-minded traveller! It is also centrally located to everything on the Monterey Peninsula.

Very tight parking spaces. Generally quiet location, except for a 20+ minute thump & bang session from directly above our ground floor room at 2AM. Light fabric window curtain had noticeable mold spots, probably due to its location above the AC unit. Otherwise, the room was clean and neat.
