It's ok

The suite was spacious and comfortable in general. Some furniture it's old and worn out. The bed was very good and the room quite, I slept well. There are small roaches in the kitchenet and the bathroom, other than that everything else is ok.

Major disappointment

I picked this hotel for its location close to the Addison Kaboom Town fireworks display. That’s about the only thing going for it. The lobby was small but clean, but when we turned the corner down the hall, the problems started to be revealed. The elevator was broken so we had to take the stairs. At first we were assigned to a room on the second floor. When the key card failed, we returned to the front desk to get the card re-coded. That happened twice before we were reassigned to a third floor room. The carpet on the stairs was filthy and torn. The room was relatively clean but in poor condition. The bathroom door stuck on the floor so you couldn’t fully open it. The shower curtain rod was bent so the curtain didn’t meet the wall. The hair dryer switch was broken so you had to plug/unplug it to use it. Towel racks were rusty and flaking. Breakfast area looked clean but no breakfast was set up. I expect a certain level of quality from ANY place in Addison, but this hotel did not meet it and is not worthy of a Hotels.com listing. At least the bed was clean and comfortable.

Interesting stay

the front desk was nice. i was expecting to have breakfast but as you walk in you can see where a restaurant was. chairs were piled on top of tables and not a good look when you walk in. i had to go back to the front desk as my key wasn't working, the lady was a little annoyed as she told me not to put the key next to my phone as it wouldn't work. would've help to have been told this upon check in as i had never had this problem. I informed the front desk that the ironing board was broken, the maintenance guy was standing at the front desk and stated he would bring me one. it was never received. so I had to improvise to iron my clothes. it was a comfortable bed, the room looked more like a small one bedroom apt and that was ok. they need to do a better job at cleaning though. I spent a minute cleaning around the top of the shower wall. the hair dryer didn't look operational so i dared not use it. a bit more care but into the Hotel can make the difference. the Hotel gives the feel of, "we just mainly rent to industrial workers and those needing weekly housing"

Don't expect much for the cheap price.

We were in town for a wedding and only stayed 1 night. The staff was friendly and the beds and linens were clean. No problems with plumbing or A/C. The price was cheap so I guess I shouldn't have expected too much but there were roaches in one of our rooms and a syringe was found in the kleenex box of the other. We arrived later in the evening and were surprised with a $100 deposit for each room which was more than the price for the 1 night stay and not mentioned anywhere in the booking process. It was returned in 3-5 business days but what would have happened to someone who couldn't do that? No place to go and a non refundable booking? The "free breakfast" was pre packaged honey buns/muffins and coffee that you had to ask for. There was a heavy smell of weed in the elevator and hallway but I blame other guests for that. We didn't do any cooking or use the dishes so I can't speak to that but I wouldn't want to anyway after seeing a few roaches. The staff was informed about the roaches at checkout but I didn't find out about the syringe until we were already heading back home and didn't have a chance to call them within an acceptable time frame. I would probably recommend people stay somewhere else or call ahead to make sure you know what you are getting.

The standard of the hotel is very poor . Roaches in rooms , rusted old hand dryer, cook top, toaster all deteriorated. It is not for long stay at all smell of cigarette smoke everywhere. Elevator not working. Came back only to sleep could stay there to rest.

The first one they gave me had no towels in the bathroom and no remote control so I asked to switch rooms and when they gave me a second room the second room I walked into the air conditioning was completely off. Management there was kind of understaffed didn't really know what they were doing but overall decent bathroom comfortable bed but definitely the hotel needs some work
