"1. The pool area was extremely crowded...no loungers, chairs or even a bench were available. Lots of kids and some in the hot tub. 2. Our alarm clock went off in the middle of the 1st night...thanks to the previous occupants setting it!! The staff should check alarms to make sure they are not set. 3. The breakfast in their restaurant was very good. 4. This is an old resort...especially the bathroom could use a remodel. The bed was comfortable. 5. The location was right where we needed to be and the nightly rate was reasonable."

"When we went, the parking was horrible. We drove around for an hour almost waiting to find a spot because there isn’t enough spots when this hotel books up. We asked the hotel where we can park since there was no parking available on their lot. We were told a back alley behind the hotel, but it was a sketchy back alley with no cameras and there were drunk guys messing around in the alley since there’s a bar/dance hall next door. Was worried about our truck the whole night. Also the microwave was dirty and had old food in it spilled on the tray. Those are our main complaints."

"The property is a little dated. But everything functioned as advertised. When we did have a problem with something, the property manager there fixed it very quickly. My grandkids and great granddaughter had a heck of a good time in the pool. And my kids had a great time in the jacuzzi. Air conditioned kept it fairly cool. A great time was had by all."

"We had a two bedroom suite, the rooms were located at opposite ends of the hall, each end had its own bathroom, and balcony. There was a full kitchen, a living room with 2 couches and a table. The beds were comfortable and the blackout curtains were the best. There were 2 swimming pooling each had a hot tub. We made good use of the gym with plenty of workout equipment. The property is beautiful and quiet. You can't find another like it for the price in San Diego. We loved it! We brought our daughter and her friend and we all had a great time? I will definitely stay here every time I visit."

"This was my mom second time here at this establishment. She had a great time the first time but this time rebooking her for almost $200 room for her birthday wasn’t pleasant. The rooms door (Suite Compassion) are pretty close room another so you may hear someone if you’re listening closely. My mom wasn’t even offered at least a birthday card not saying that’s mandatory at all but it would have been a nice touch especially driving a distance here What really disappointed my mom was when she received a text from, Sarah, front dest instructing to turn OFF the TV because the neighbor was having a hard time sleeping. I definitely understand especially in QUIET resort. She’s not a child, she’s an adult and she should have been addressed nicely but lowering the volume which my mom left the tv on in the room when she left. I can definitely understand how anything that would be for a neighbor if the volume was up. We paid to use the amenities that is included in the fee but to tell someone to turn it off. Sound ruthless Beautiful area and definitely quiet enough to hear a pen drop."
