"The room was very clean...the shower floor was slightly slippery most likely a slight build-up of soap. Every else in the room was good. The balcony outside our room had a few cobwebs but it was pleasant to sit there and watch the traffic. Staff were very nice and the meal was great. Would stay there again. "

"Old heritage pub accommodation was different to our normal booked accommodation. Narrow halls and low ceilings at steps made things interesting but enjoyable. Reception, bar and bistro staff were very good. Dinner was great, especially the scallop pot pie. "

"We found the breakfast super healthy and surprisingly filling. Fruit and natural yogurt supplied. The indoor/outdoor shared area we liked very much. You look out towards the base of The Nut and there right before you is a little water fall and pond with gold fish in it. Use of local stone and brick created lots of ambience in a rustic kind of way. My wife and I enjoyed our two night stay very much. Kerry and Alastair have put a lot of time, energy and thought into creating this little oasis. Thank you."
