Top Stanley Hotel Reviews

Stanley Hotel

Stanley Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Great and good-value-for-money accommodation right in the heart of the historic town of Stanley! The property is a stone’s throw away from the Nut Summit Circuit and Godfreys Beach. A 10min walk took us to the Nut Rock Café, the Nut State Reserve chairlift, and the penguin viewing deck by the beach. For a typical bistro and pub hotel, the property delivered five-star quality service. On arrival after hours, Joe at the bistro welcomed us warmly and facilitated our stress-free check-in. He was also very helpful providing us with practical tips on how to access with 100% success rate the walking tracks in the Nut and penguin viewing. As an integral part of our review, we extend a big thank you to him and to our fabulous room attendant Jackie who kept our room clean everyday, replenished room amenities and changed our towels daily during our three-night stay in this iconic establishment. The hotel houses the multi-awarded Stanley Hotel Bistro serving homegrown produce, grass-fed beef steak and a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Forget the so-called boutique hotels that may max out the credit card limit because Stanley Hotel will not break the bank and yet offer a spacious queen suite with a clean en-suite for less and affordable dining as well."

"Our stay in the self contained Studio was perfect. It was conveniently located and very nicely decorated in sage green and cream. We found the bed very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped for coffee and snacks. The laundry facilities were easy to use and we had our own patio with a washing line and pegs. It was cosy and warm in the room on the winter evenings. Parking was convenient just outside the studio. It was an easy walk to the centre of town and the Nut."
