"A lovely hotel with a nice pool area. This is a great base if you're around the La Fortuna area as you're close to it without the bustle and traffic of the town. Breakfast was great and varied. View of the volcano was the best. Our room was too small for 4 people, only really one place to store a suitcase. Pillows weren't comfortable either. Otherwise though, a nice stay. Restaurant is expensive - go out and discover some of the lovely places to eat in the area. Tiquicia/ Soda & Restaurante Rodriguez were our favourites."

"We stayed here for a few nights and the only complaint is that we did not stay longer. Which is totally on us. The staff here was exceptional and we met the owner who is a local man just getting this property moving the start of this year, which is why there are so few reviews. So glad we got in early, and wish it was our little secret, but the owner and staff were so great, we want them to succeed! This is a great property. Super nice, but approachable. Beautiful but not pretentious or wanna-be-bougie, which so many of them are"

"Very clean and quiet resort. It was huge with so many amenities. Our room looked exactly like the pictures. Only thing to note is the property is about a 15 minute walk from the main town with restaurants so be prepared for that if you did not rent a car. "

"Stayed for 3 days in March and found the hotel and staff to be great. The bed was comfortable and the amenities (kitchenette, bathroom) were good quality. The food in the restaurant was excellent. They have a lot of different choices for lunch and dinner and the servings were generous. Breakfast was also very good but we found it pricey for what you got. The staff - Alonso, Izak and William - were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others."

"This was an absolutely fabulous place to stay for many reasons. The breakfast is excellent and if you get it included in your room, it’s an extraordinary value. The staff are wonderful and always seem to have a smile for you. The front desk staff, especially Astin, are helpful and will go out of their way to make sure you get what you need. The grounds are impeccable. They keep them very well groomed and it’s an absolute joy to walk around to see the tropical plants, birds and little lizards and how beautiful they keep their property. It feels like a true tropical oasis. After a great day of fun activities, you always get to come back to a fabulous full-size pool that is extremely clean and very comfortable to sit in the sun just to relax. The location just outside of the downtown is absolutely perfect. you get away from the noise and the hustle and bustle but it’s a six minute walk to all of the restaurants and bars and wonderful downtown of La Fortuna. If you want the perfect location to be very close to all of the excursions and fun you can have, this is the place. A five minute drive to the zip lines, 3 to 4 minutes and you can go sloth hunting, 20 minutes to the volcano park and 25 minutes to the hanging bridges. You couldn’t ask for a better location. My wife and I enjoyed our six nights at Arenal country Inn so much we know we will be back Thanks for making it a perfectly experience"

"The accommodations are right next to the forest and river. We had unit 1 at the base of the resort with a short walk to the river. Unfortunately for the days were there it did rain quite heavily. There was a hot tub on the deck that we used a couple of times, which was great. "
