This hotel was an absolute delight. Most of the rooms are private bungalows tucked into the jungle. The view with the jacuzzi tub was much welcomed after a day of hiking. There was also so much wildlife and we saw monkeys, lizards, fireflies and too many birds to count. While I did not enjoy the breakfast I did enjoy the crapes and coffee later in the evening that were available for purchase. We didn't mind walking into town, but it is a 45 minute trek. If you have a car however it would be fine. Overall I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway especially if you are looking to enjoy nature.

La Fortuna fun

An overnight stay but would have been great to have stayed longer. Beautiful ‘lodge’ in a stunning location. The jacuzzi was fun after a day of activities. Great little trail to follow with a good chance of spotting some wildlife.

This property is truly special. The gardens are amazing and there are tons of wild animals and some very friendly pups. There is no pool but the hot springs are nearly. The hotel restaurant is great and very reasonably priced.

Property was stunning. I love the detached bungalows and the scenery. The beds were miserable. Extremely hard. Rest of the room was great. Restaurant at night was quaint and delicious. The breakfast was not ideal as you have to order the night before. Loved the pups on property, they were great

We really loved the property itself. The only exception would be the wooden floors due to its creaking sound on every step you take. Also, the plumbing in the jacuzzi would cause it to run dirty water but we were able to clean it out before we used it. Other than that, the villa was beautiful and convenient if you’re looking to do tours around the area.

Great Stay in La Fortuna

I had a great experience here. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, affordable, and provided a great view of the volcano. I also loved the fact that they deliver breakfast straight to your room each morning provided that you order the day before. The best part of my stay here would probably be the service. I was involved in an ATV accident and needed to stay in the room a few hours after checkout and the owner totally understood. I offered to pay a little extra for the additional time spent there, but the owner, David, said I didn’t have to pay anything extra. He even stopped by my room to check on me and was apologetic about the internet being a little spotty at times. Anyway, I can’t say enough good things about this place and I would highly recommend it to anyone traveling through La Fortuna. Thank you David and your amazing team!

This was an absolutely beautiful place to stay. The inside was clean, fresh, and in excellent condition. It felt like a hotel room transported in middle of the jungle. The night view from inside the cabin is breathtaking. It was really something special and unique.

We were a little disappointed that our hot tub, advertised inside our room, but was actually, was on the patio. The place is beautiful but our bed was so hard.

This place is beautiful! It is more hands off than a normal hotel, but very quaint and surrounded by amazing wildlife. The jacuzzi was lovely (it does take a bit of time to fill up, but the water is nice and hot). They provided a coffee maker with delicious coffee too. We didnt try the restaurant, because we did early morning all day tours while we were there. But we loved waking up to the sounds and views 😊

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights at the end of December. We stayed in villa 3B with a great view of the volcano. The villa was beautiful, nicely decorated and comfortable. Lots of birds -hummingbirds, toucans on the property. The locations is great especially if you have a car. Its secluded and peaceful with 5-7 minute drive to La Fortuna town centre, a few minutes to the waterfall, zip lines and hot springs. The drive to Mistico hanging bridges is about 30 minutes. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay again.
