"Fantastic condo on the 17th floor with great views. Corrinne was very helpful/patient with our issues with the unfamiliar washer/dryer combo. The front desk clerks even came up to see if they could help. Very close to the 14 metro and was able to get everywhere in town. As a side note: it takes almost 3 hours to dry a load of laundry so plan accordingly. And if you like hot showers you’ll have to turn the right knob towards you past the 37 C mark and run the water for about 10 minutes before it...

"We spent six days at the hotel in August and were very happy. The decor in the room was a bit outdated but absolutely fine and the AC worked well. The room was large and comfortable for two people, and the breakfast was good and plentiful. The staff were very friendly. Not everyone spoke that much English but there were enough who did so it was not a problem. The location was the main highlight for us, as the hotel is just by the main shopping street with multiple department stores, and also easily walkable to the Forbidden City. We would definitely stay there again."

"We were really excited to stay at Mandarin Oriental Shanghai, and it more than lived up to our expectations. From the moment we arrived, the care and service from the staff were exceptional. Our room was huge, beautifully presented and had the most incredible views across the city and the Huangpu River — a view we’ll genuinely never forget. Every day we returned to find the room serviced immaculately, with an impressive level of attention to detail throughout our stay. For a hotel of this standard, we also thought the value for money was outstanding. Everything about the experience felt genuinely five-star, from the room itself to the warmth and professionalism of the staff. It was a fabulous stay from start to finish, and we would return to Mandarin Oriental Shanghai in a heartbeat."

"The hotel was clean , the gym was amazing , we had the buffet breakfast and it was delicious , staff were very friendly and helpful .. the pizza at the Italian restaurant was delicious , the staff during tea time very nice , my only suggestion is to offer laundry service at a reasonable price . We had to use an outside service that would pick up laundry and return it to our hotel at a very responsible price . Otherwise the staff , hotel and amenities I would definitely give it 5 stars .. would highly recommend staying here ."
