"No one at reception to check us in, rung the number on door and phone kept cutting out and then got cut off. Didnt get a friendly feeling. Room was huge but not really luxury as advertised, very outdated, sink in bathroom needs replacing. Both me and my husband woke up with sore throats and sneezing due to dust in rafters and on ledges in room. Shower okay if you are a short person."

"Spa was a bit too cool, bedroom air conditioner was far too noisy to use. Pool in general was very shabby, Spa Pool ladder was dangerous & needs fixing immediately."

"Elbert’s property was a perfect choice for a quiet getaway with our two dogs! The dogs loved the space to run around and we had a great time hanging out by the dam, in the canoe, playing tennis and stargazing at night. Elbert also gave some great recommendations for things to do in the area and we even went on a bush walk following one of the trails he’d mapped out. Thanks again for a wonderful weekend! "

"We found the floor inside dirty in places. The bed hard and uncomfortable. The dog run and the general yard overgrown. Our small pet was snagged three times on the long thorny blackberry stems even though he was on the lead at all times. The grass required mowing.The cottage was well appointed and in a good location close to town."
