From the moment we were welcomed this was such a great experience. We were met with a cup of tea and sponge cake and a detailed explanation of the area. Location is convenient to everything you would want to see. Breakfast was up there with the bet hotels. Couldn't recommend Stone Villa highly enough!

The hotel is easy walking distance to the train station and city centre. The hotel is well maintained. The Reception staff were very helpful especially Kurt providing useful information on Chester. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was very good every day we stayed. Roger was very organised in serving us the hot breakfast. We very much enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at The Golden Eagle. Friendly and accommodating staff- thanks Martin for carrying our bags up, and very nice meals, helped us have a terrific start. The pub is so close to the town, the wall and the museums, that everything was easy to get to. Breakfast was bespoke to our needs and was top class. Thanks.

The room was spacious and warm, and the whole place was well run. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Food downstairs is great, including cooked breakfasts. It can be a little noisy at dinner time, but it doesnt go late. Nothing you wouldn't expect from having a room above a pub. It's more atmospheric than annoying. The hotel is set right in the middle of everything. Easy walking to all the sites and stones throw from the beautiful cathedral. Excellent quality for a good price. Highly...
