"We really enjoyed our stay! The rental was clean with a beautiful view of the Toccoa River. There are a couple rooms that were warm at night unfortunately but we made the best of it. I feel like the bathrooms, some of the bedrooms could use some hooks on the walls to help with hanging things but overall the cabin is spacious and cozy. Lots of deck space, lower and upper and we loved the fire pit making s’mores. The jacuzzi was a hit too! "

"The cabins are rustic with a 2 burner cook top and just enough pans and utensils. Excellent provisions. Lighting is sparse with 1 light over the table and a battery powered lantern. If you like to read in bed, consider bringing your own light. "

"My husband and I came for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary. We just wanted to relax and unwind and we got to do exactly that. I had some reservations about staying here after reading some reviews about noise upstairs but I found that wasn’t a problem with our experience. Yes, you can hear footsteps above you but it wasn’t so disturbing that it would deter me from staying here again. There are no TV’s in the bedrooms which is not a problem unless you need the noise to sleep which my husband and I do. I brought my sound machine from home just in case and that did the trick. My sound machine also alleviated any noise I might have heard in the night from upstairs. The location here is perfect. If you don’t want to do a lot of driving you can park your car here and walk to do just about everything from eating, fishing, and sight seeing. There’s pretty much everything you need right here. If you get to meet Jane, the property owner, she is very kind! The bed was comfortable. The hot tub was nice and the fire pit was enjoyable also! We have no complaints. We’d definitely stay here again. "

"My wife and I stayed in a 1br/1ba cabin (#26) we only stayed for two nights, we will be back again, but will plan a longer trip for as far as we traveled. The cabin was comfortable and cozy, back looked into woods front looked towards the mountains and the sunset. Our cabin did not have a hot tub or outdoor heater, but did have a large deck and screened room off to the side with grill. Full kitchen including coffee maker in cabin. We did not eat at the flying trout restaurant at the lodge, but would have if we were staying longer, very convenient. Loved the atmosphere and the location relative to nature trails, scenic routes and the small town destinations of Blairsville and Blue Ridge and even Dawsonville and McCaysville will be on our itinerary for next time."

"We had such a great stay at this cabin! One of our favorite things was being able to fish right on the property. We spent most of our day outside under picnic table/swing area. The front porch was also the hangout area for relaxation in the evening time. The views and the sounds of the river are so relaxing and peaceful. We also loved having a fenced-in area out back where we could safely let the dogs out. I really appreciated how well-stocked the cabin was. The host clearly put a lot of thought into making guests comfortable, providing plenty of toiletries as well as kitchen and laundry essentials. It made our stay feel easy and stress-free, like a home away from home! "
