"We were looking for a quiet and relaxing get-a-way. This was the perfect spot! It is off the beaten path in the foothills. We really enjoyed sitting on the back porch listening to the sounds of the creek flowing by and the cicadas singing at night. There isn’t a view of the creek, but the house is in a nice wooded area. It’s not far from town, but takes a little while to get there on the curvy roads. The pretty drive is worth the distance. A neat Apple Orchard was on the way to town with good food and homemade fried pies. The home is new, beautiful and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, which is always a plus! The host, Jenna, was very helpful and responsive. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. It is an ideal location to stay if your plans are to hike the Amicalola Falls State Park. The property was clean and spacious. The lake was beautiful to wake up to and to boat around on. The real prize of the property was the Property Manager, Jackie, who made every effort to enhance our stay with recommendations, assistance with dining in town and timely responsiveness. "I was looking for some privacy, R&R, and to be surrounded by nature. Check, check, check. The pup and I had a great time and would definitely stay here again. There were others who were staying in the other cabin on the property, but I hardly knew they were there. There is a nice buffer between the cabins. I did notice an odor in the bathroom, mentioned by a couple other campers, but running the portable heater after I showered seemed to help. The hosts are very organized, informative, and responsive. I found it to be a very good location to explore the area, about 30 minutes outside of downtown. "

"Great little cabin for a couple! It was big enough to not feel cramped but cozy enough to get away and relax. We didn’t spend enough time here with all the activities in the area available - Amicalola Falls, Blue Ridge Scenic Railway, White Water Rafting near Bryson City, SC. Next time we will plan a day of no activities to enjoy more of what the cabin had to offer."
