"After a nice trip to the theatre and on return to the hotel to have a night cap only to find that the bar was closed and although bar staff were still in attendance the reception staff advised us that they wouldnt allow us to take a bottle of wine to our room and book it to our room. "

The person in the room next door was talking (maybe gaming) loudly all night, until some time after 5.30am, making it impossible to sleep. "For the price i expected better: Paid for the lounge access as part of the room, but they did not load it onto the card, had to ask, so if course wasn't introduced to where it was. No introduction on where to get breakfast. The room card would stop working every night so have to back to reception to reactivate. They did not read the note to have the sofa bed ready so there was no bedding on it."

"This is a GUEST HOUSE and not a hotel. I guess I misunderstood this. We came in after check-in was closed at 8:30 p.m. and didn't realize they closed. Radiators went off for a long time and the room was cold. Moisture from the roof was on one wall. Bathroom was clean and nice but small. Room was large. There was a door to a semi-balcony but we didn't have access to it. Breakfast was good. Breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. There was no refreshment of tea and milk. The bed was comfortable."
