"I spent three nights in isolation and peace. There were a few initial problems but Sally was very approachable and helpful. The biggest drawback was the number of ants, but some insecticide helped with that. Lying in the bath at night watching the stars, and some satellites and even one shooting star was amazing. The road to the house is somewhat rough, so you might not want to drive your sedan there."

"The property was just as described. The kids had a ball. We had four families (8 adults, 8 children). Each couple had their own room which had an ensuite and the kids all bunked in the one room. There was plenty of room for everyone to come together or have their own space. Even though the road to the caves was closed we drive 30 minute to a walk and waterfall which the kids enjoyed the adventure. Jacqui was so quick to respond to any questions and we saw her each day feeding the animals."

"We have just returned from a relaxing week at Marigold Cottage. The accommodation was perfect for our family, clean comfortable with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. The cottage is not far from local attractions and a short trip back to visit Katoomba and Leura."

"Such a beautiful peaceful place for a getaway, the house is superb and the pool table and badminton provided night time entertainment. The fireplace looked lovely but we didn’t get around to using it. The kangaroos were a nice welcome every time we left the house. Overall we would definitely stay there again."

"We enjoyed a quiet, peaceful Easter weekend in the school house. The bed and linens were comfortable and the classic lounge chairs a treat. My hubby would have enjoyed a small electric frying pan to cook his bacon and eggs in but aside from that the kitchenette had everything we needed. We had booked dinner at Antica Australis in Carcoar in advance, that was wonderful and we stopped on the way home to the school house to admire the stars away from ambient light."

"Really enjoyed staying at this house. We were all delighted to see horses in the next property, that came right up to the fence. Great facilities, only the bed in the main room wasn't comfortable- we ended up swapping rooms with one of the kids as their beds were firmer."

"A lovely, quiet country property within easy reach of the convenience of Orange. The pool was a huge hit with the kids - great size and very clean. The house was well equipped with everything you need, including a generous welcome hamper. Books, games, TVs, wifi etc. We were a bit concerned about the lack of air con given it was mid-summer, but even though the days were warm the house stayed cool, and the elevation gave us a beautiful cool breeze every night. A wonderful stay."

"Deb was incredibly lovely when arranging our stay. On arrival there was ground coffee and a bottle of wine, which was a very thoughtful touch. The container home is quirky and cosy and we absolutely loved the indoor fire! We had a brilliant time celebrating, relaxing and re-setting for the week ahead."

"Wonderful and welcoming hosts, in the most stunning and private valley. They offer so much! Wildlife, 4X4 tracks, camp fires friendly farm animals and stunning 360 views of the colourful Cliffs. It was well worth the stay and we will be back to visit again!"
