"We enjoyed a quiet, peaceful Easter weekend in the school house. The bed and linens were comfortable and the classic lounge chairs a treat. My hubby would have enjoyed a small electric frying pan to cook his bacon and eggs in but aside from that the kitchenette had everything we needed. We had booked dinner at Antica Australis in Carcoar in advance, that was wonderful and we stopped on the way home to the school house to admire the stars away from ambient light."

"Really enjoyed staying at this house. We were all delighted to see horses in the next property, that came right up to the fence. Great facilities, only the bed in the main room wasn't comfortable- we ended up swapping rooms with one of the kids as their beds were firmer."

"A lovely, quiet country property within easy reach of the convenience of Orange. The pool was a huge hit with the kids - great size and very clean. The house was well equipped with everything you need, including a generous welcome hamper. Books, games, TVs, wifi etc. We were a bit concerned about the lack of air con given it was mid-summer, but even though the days were warm the house stayed cool, and the elevation gave us a beautiful cool breeze every night. A wonderful stay."

"We had a fantastic 3 days at this beautiful, historic and quaint little cottage. The location is stunning, the house is very comfortable and Kayley couldn't have bern more helpful and accommodating. A great little find to which we look forward to returning. PS - to the owners: PLEASE don't renovate this place! As an interior designer, I can honestly say that it would break my heart to see a modern kitchen put in and all the little quirks in the house ironed out - it's the not 'perfect' details...
