"The property was unique and beautiful surrounded by nature felt refresh daily. The staff was amazing and kind. However, the food was not the best I would only recommend staying within the limit of breakfast that was included as the food doesn’t have much flavor. What I did not like was the private pool were extremely cold. The expectation was the pool to be at least a regular shower temperature throughout the day but it was extremely cold at all hour of the day. If you experience cold plunge before that is the temperature of the private pool. There must be an alternative of heated option for these pools."

"The only redeeming quality of this hotel is that it is close to the National Park. Food is okay, pretty much the exact same thing everyday in the buffet. No menu. Hot water is a maybe. Maid service is okay. Elevators don’t have accurate floor numbers. No room service. Front desk speaks no English. "

Food and cleaning was excellent and the staff was above and beyond… Our personal Concierge Julio Rodriguez was 100/10 .. he even prepared a Happy Anniversary surprise without asking … I am Very grateful for everything… It is a quiet place , perfect for relaxing . "Overall, the hotel grounds and nice and maintained. I can say the rooms were nice and spacious as well. The only problem is outside noise in the apartment. My 1 bedroom was outside of the pool with kids constantly screaming. I was able to tune it out but the bedroom located in the back faced the road and you can clearly hear every car driving by. Thankful the road is clamber at night. On my second day there was a high pitched loud buzzing sound coming from the courtyard. I couldn’t tune this sound out and it was extremely irritating. I walked around to see where it was coming from and finally asked the front desk if I could change rooms. I also noticed my balcony door didn’t close all the way. The front desk said we don’t have any other one bedrooms available and said nobody ever complained about this noise. I offered to take a downgrade or even pay for an upgrade to no avail. I convinced them to come hear the sound and they finally agreed and learned the sound was coming from a motor outside of my room. They shut off the motor and all was well and they sent someone to fix the door. The motor was back on my last day but I just dealt with it. The front desk could have handled the situation better and offered some accommodation rather than dismissing my claims. Overall it’s a nice place but not relaxing and staff could have been better. I’d think twice before booking this place or at least book a room on the higher floor to avoid the noise. "

No tienen un sistema o plataforma automatizado, todo lo hacen manual. La hostes es la que te lleva a la mesa y deja desatendida la recepción de los restaurantes. Pésima coordinación en restaurantes. La comida estuvo bien, pero las porciones son muy pequeñas, parece que es un menú de degustación. No regresaría. "

"We stayed at the Holiday Inn Tulum for 2 nights as a group of 9, travelling as a family, and honestly it was a bit of a mixed bag. We had booked 3 rooms and specifically asked to be close together. Instead we were spread across 3 completely different levels, which made things really inconvenient with kids and coordinating plans. It kind of defeated the whole purpose of booking as a group. The buffet breakfast was 250 pesos per person and it felt like a complete rip-off. There were no clean plates available when we arrived, and we had to keep asking for food to be refilled otherwise there wouldn’t have been enough to eat. It just felt really poorly managed. Service overall was lacking. There was often no one at the front desk to help with basic things like pool towels or questions. No assistance with luggage at all, which is tough when you’re travelling with kids and multiple bags. My mum asked for a kettle for tea, was told it would be sent up, and it never came. Even small things added up, like not having enough room keys to give us 2 per room, which you’d expect as a minimum from an international chain. On the positive side, the rooms themselves were clean and comfortable, so no complaints there. The ground floor pool was great for the kids. But overall, for a brand like Holiday Inn, I expected a much higher standard of service and organisation. It just didn’t live up to what you’d expect, especially travelling as a big family."

"reception was there during check-in, very nice and helpful. everything was fast and convenience. the place itself is very safe and quite. if driving, there's a gate check-in - need to let them know it's an hotel stay for them to let pass. would stay here again next time in tulum. Parking available onsite which is nice"
