The best area to stay in Celada is Dorado, particularly for its luxurious resorts and excellent beach access.

Dorado is known for its exclusive, gated communities and high-end hotels, many of which are situated directly on the coastline. This area offers a more secluded and polished experience compared to other parts of Celada, with beautifully maintained grounds and private beach access. The main thoroughfare, PR-693, connects many of the resorts and golf courses.

Couples looking for a romantic and pampered escape will find Dorado ideal. The resorts here often feature world-class spas, fine dining options, and stunning ocean views. You can enjoy quiet strolls along the beach or indulge in activities like golf and water sports without leaving the resort grounds.

Families seeking a comfortable and convenient holiday will also appreciate Dorado. Many resorts offer spacious rooms, multiple swimming pools, and organised activities for children, ensuring a relaxing stay for parents while keeping younger guests entertained.

The best time to go to Celada is during the dry season, which runs from December to May, offering warm temperatures and less rainfall.

This period is ideal for those looking to enjoy Celada's outdoor activities and beaches without the interruption of heavy showers. The weather is consistently pleasant, with average temperatures hovering around 27°C (80°F), making it superb for exploring the natural beauty of the area.

Couples seeking a relaxing getaway will particularly appreciate this time of year. The drier weather ensures uninterrupted days for enjoying the coastal areas, perhaps with a stroll along the beaches near Punta Santiago or a visit to the El Yunque National Forest, which is less muddy and more accessible during these months.

Solo travellers looking for adventure will also find the dry season excellent for activities like hiking in the nearby mountains or exploring the bioluminescent bay in Fajardo, which is often clearer and more spectacular on nights following dry days. With fewer weather concerns, planning excursions is straightforward and enjoyable.
