This is a budget hotel. It has seen better days, but the bed was comfortable and clean, and it wasn't bad for the price point, given its convenient location. Just manage your expectations; this isn't a luxury stay, but it's a good place to crash after a long day.

The location of the Hotel is prime. Good breakfast on a terrace with breathtaking view of Condado snd ocean. The only thing that was not convenient was the parking situation. I had to park at a multilevel garage nearby and walk. Tip: leave luggage at checking, park and then come back for your luggage. And also validate your parking ticket either with security on 1st level or reception.

When we got to our room, we noticed the floors and counters had not been cleaned. Other than that, the bedding and bathroom were nicely cleaned. We were in a great location, there was good breakfast, and the front desk staff were EXTREMELY helpful and kind! One note - we did not receive service to our room (to change bedding, empty trash, etc) for the last 4 days of our stay.

The breakfast was just fruit and bread with orange/apple juice or coffee. No pancakes or bacon or any real variety. To get to the parking lot is horrible. Having to get on 2 elevators. We couldn’t find the hotel entrance. Getting there with luggage was a nightmare. We walked a decent amount with our bags from the parking lot to the hotel on the beautiful but bumpy brick “road” (road is closed off to cars). Room is okay but outdated. Had a nice view of the ocean.

The hotel is in a perfect location near mostly everything and have views to die for. It definitely is very outdated and the AC in the room wasn’t the best but at least it was clean and honestly that didn’t bother as much. Check in was good and easy, called the front desk once and they told me they would send someone to bring what I asked for but they never came and tried calling a couple times and no one answered and that was super rude and disrespectful is like they didn’t want to do the job they’re getting paid to do!!!! Parking situation is a bit confusing and the security staff is a bit rude (not all). Breakfast is ok but could be better.

1/5 - Serious maintenance issues despite friendly staff I stayed at Costa Bahia Hotel in San Juan. Although staff is quite friendly and helpful, the condition of the hotel itself was unacceptable. We arrived on day 1 to find no running water in our room. The issues didn’t stop there: • Carpet was very dirty, if you step om the carpet your feet would turn black • Furniture is extremely outdated and worn down • Bathtub drain cover was falling out and the tub itself was dirty • Shower had visible mold/mildew and felt unsanitary • General cleanliness and maintenance were well below standard The staff tried their best and were courteous, but no amount of good service makes up for no running water and a moldy bathroom. For the price, I expected basic functioning plumbing and a clean room. Management needs to address serious maintenance and housekeeping issues. We would not stay here again.

The hotel had an amazing view, which was definitely the highlight of the stay. However, there were several negative points. The carpet in the room was extremely dirty I would not recommend walking barefoot. The parking situation was very confusing and inconvenient. The parking lot is very far from the lobby, and when it rained all of my luggage got soaked because of the long walk. The lobby itself is also very small and lacks proper infrastructure. On the positive side, the gym was good with quality equipment. The breakfast was very basic: bagels, bread, butter, cereal, milk, coffee, juice, muffins, and some fruit. For me, the best options were the fresh oranges, grapes, and bananas. The shower had great water pressure and hot water, and the bed sheets were clean. Be aware that check-in requires a $150 deposit, plus $15 per day for parking. Overall, the hotel was okay, but personally I would not stay there again.

Initially we were greeted by nice people even though it was in the second floor to check in and it didn’t seem super clear but overall the process was fine. They were helpful and informative which we appreciated. The next days we discovered our room’s phone didn’t work, so it was a hassle to get new towels and even tell them about super loud neighbors past 11pm (one time they answered the other time they didn’t but maybe they were short staffed because one of the ladies said she couldn’t get towels for us but we could…) The breakfast was the best part probably because the people there were helpful and the food was simple but good options still for the price I guess. As to our room we noticed an ant problem besides the humidity maybe in the hallways that caused wear on a lot of things we didn’t even use the shelves because some seemed like they were going to break at any moment. Access to white sand beach? Doesn’t exist so next time we’ll definitely stay somewhere else especially with a child. At the end they seemed nice again even though we ran through some issues we didn’t want to move to another hotel and possibly lost our money. The place is very close to different great food places and a beach you have to walk to.
