"We had requested a specific area for our room as we stay at this property often and my wife struggles with walking with her cane. This was stated in the booking but upon arrival to check in we had been allocated a room furthest from lifts, car parks breakfast and pool access. We were advised by check in staff there was nothing they could do as they were fully booked. The manger over heard this and went through all the bookings and re checked us in to a more suitable access room for my wife. We would like to thank him for going out of his way to help us out. The room was in a helpful location and we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at Peppers Salt as usual. Room was clean, breakfast great and pool amazing. We will definitely be back again"

"Wir waren bei unserer Ankunft ehrlich gesagt schockiert über den Zustand des Apartments. Überall war starker Schmutz: Die eigentlich weiße Couch war schwarz vor Dreck, sodass wir sie erst mit Decken abdecken mussten, um sie überhaupt nutzen zu können. Es gab Kakerlaken, stark verschmutzte Lüftungen, Fenster, Lampen und Raumtrenner. Auch der Kühlschrank war in keinem guten Zustand, in den Schränken fanden sich alte Seifenreste, und selbst der Staubsaugerbeutel war völlig überfüllt.Zusätzlich gab es Mängel wie einen defekten Sonnenschirm sowie eine scharfkantige Stelle am Boden, die wir aus Sicherheitsgründen selbst repariert haben. Statt unseren Aufenthalt genießen zu können, haben wir die ersten zwei Tage damit verbracht, das Apartment überhaupt erst bewohnbar zu machen.Trotz eines 30-tägigen Aufenthalts zum vollen Preis wurde uns keinerlei Entgegenkommen gezeigt – im Gegenteil: Für den Besuch unseres Sohnes und seiner Freundin sollten nachträglich zusätzliche Kosten berechnet werden. Auch das Rauchverbot im Außenbereich war im Vorfeld nicht klar kommuniziert.Ein konstruktiver Dialog oder Kompromiss war leider nicht möglich. Unsere Hinweise wurden als Vorwand dargestellt, um den Preis zu mindern. Wir lassen daher lieber die Bilder für sich sprechen. Schade finden wir vor allem, dass hier offenbar eher wirtschaftliche Interessen im Vordergrund stehen als ein respektvoller Umgang mit Gästen."

"Check in and parking was easy. Room was clean and close to all ammenities. However reprimanding of children running amock was sadly lacking. Staff should have spoken to the parents, and not the children themselves."

"Great, clean & well maintained apartment, located beachside with the convenience of restaurants & shopping below. Large, private balcony overlooking a park. Only one issue, we stayed for a week so needed to unpack but the bedroom cupboards were packed full of bedding, far more than could ever be necessary."

"Excellent property close to everything you want for a holiday/break.Only bad issue was the parking. There is a fern next to your car. There was a small rain shower and the fern dropped leaves/sap on the car. On return home we found the paint was damaged. Dont park in the driveway if you value your paint work. "

"The location was great. The property while nice. So many little things need improving. 1/ The pool - was not clean. It was filled with leaves and debris. There was nothing to sweep or clean it with at the property. 2/ The lawn - while extremely small the grass wasn’t even mowed 3/ this may be petty but the property didn’t even have Champagne glasses4/ little things like the bug spray was empty5/ supply of cling wrap was empty. It’s nice to have these included, however they should be checked 6/ the big one for me. The property had a bad smell as if the previous visitors let their pets pee inside. Not cool. "

"After readding the terrible reviews, it was very appreciated that electrical appliances had been replaced or repaired prior to our stay. Overall, the house was poorly equipped, with limited utensils etc in the kitchen. The barbeque was filthy and so unable to be used. There was no dryer, but instructions indicated fines if the towels were not dry and folded. Overall the bones of a very lovely beach house but poorly maintained. A great position though with a lot of potential. In summary overpriced for what was delivered. "
