We loved having the cabin to ourselves and being able to bring the dogs along for the adventure. Very clean, cozy and had more space than I expected. The train didn't bother us at all. Will definitely be back.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay, Hailey! Thank you for your review :)
The are is beautiful and quiet. So nice to be able to be surrounded by such beauty. My son loved the ping pong table in the common room, and the ability to get movies from the store to watch later in the evening.

Beautiful area. Loved the cabin. Bed was ok, should have been a king not a queen.

Hello, Brian! Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Your feedback has been noted and we will look into the process of changing out our Queens for Kings :)
Very relaxing place and waking up to the beautiful view really helps you settle into vacation mode. Railway is fairly close and trains pass through at speed every hour or so just something to be aware of.
Definitely had a relaxed atmosphere and is close to main trail heads/connections.

Thank you so much for your review, Mario! We're thrilled that you enjoyed your stay. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we can't wait to welcome you back soon.
Loved the location of the chalets, so many walks and so much wildlife around. Lots of things to do a short drive away, including all the main touristy bits like Lake Louise. Lodges themselves are nice, really handy to have a full kitchen too!
Close to Johnston canyon, 22 minutes drive from Banff. Plenty of parking space right by the cabin and more on gas station and store side. Check in at the little store next to gas pump. Normal check in time is around 3:30 pm to 5pm but they are flexible, just email thrm to arrange key drop off. Great stay.
Great location with lovely, rustic & spacious cabins. The store on site was very handy with a good selection of snacks, sandwiches, drinks, and even some dog treats for the pup. We had to rewash the dishes before using them as they didn't seem clean, but other than that our stay was very enjoyable and we will likely return.

A quiet , peaceful retreat under the towering majesty of Castle mountain. You can make your own home cooked meals and not pay restaurant prices. We stepped out this morning amidst the magnificent fall colours to hike to the Ink Pots at Johnson’s Canyon. The day before we hiked to Lake Agnes at Lane Louise. We will be coming back to be greeted by the friendly staff who helped us build a fire in our fire place.
Good communal feel. Outdoor bbq and firepit. Very peaceful and quiet. Was an awesome experience. I will be back without a doubt.

Considering that the property was founded in 1939, it OSS in remarkably good condition. Cedar cabin where we stayed is a cozy single bed independent unit with a well equipped kitchen.
The unit also has a wood burning stove for which generous quantity of wood was provided. However, the stove door in number 11 was damaged and didn’t close properly. It was a minor problem that didn’t stop us from using the stove.
It’s a charming, rustic location along side trans Canada rail track which is quite busy with trains. We didn’t mind the train horns and track noise but it may bother some guests.
What a beautiful, clean cabin! The open floor plan made it feel like we had so much room. We could drive over to Banff in 20 minutes, but our favorite part of the trip was an epic hike just a couple of miles from the cabin. There are beautiful hikes you can walk to! My husband said that I “knocked it out of the park” when I booked this cabin.
Very comfortable room centrally located in Banff National Park. Both Lake Louise and the town of Banff we less than 30 minutes away. We also had a great hike at Johnston Canyon. Laundry was also convenient and we talked to our fellow travelers around the fire. Great experience!
