Search Castaway Island Holiday Park Accommodation

Loved our time on Castaway, I searched and searched for bad reviews for this place but couldn't find any and now I know why. It's the ideal relax and unwind for families with young(ish) kids. Babysitting a plenty, kids club that's small and full of interesting activities. The staff are super friendly and make the effort to remember the children's names. The resort is small enough to feel like home but constructed in such a way that you have space and privacy when you need it.

We arrived late in the evening by water taxi with two small children and expected to be quietly guided to our bure. We were welcomed by a dozen staff members serenading us in the dark, given fresh juice in the beachfront area and there were complimentary toasted sandwiches in our room for dinner because the restaurants were closed. After two nights we requested a change of bure because we were right next to the beach bar and tucked behind the water sports hut and our requested was accommodated...

The staff at this place are perhaps the most attentive I have ever encountered. Not only will they greet you with a friendly local "Bula" (Hello) but within a day or so almost every one of them will know your name and some of your preferences. The food & beverage is unsurpassed. For breakfasts particular highlights were the twice-cooked gruyere souffle, the mud-crab omelette (absolutely divine) and the freshest poppyseed salmon bagel I have ever had. Lunch food was varied and superb, and...

Amazing holiday! Could not fault anything. We only stayed for 4 nights but we left so relaxed. We didn’t think about our real life at all - it was a complete break. We hope to come back on day.

Location and beach are amazing, Tokiriki is definitely a hidden gem. Like most Fijian resort's, food and activities can be expensive, but you can expect that everywhere, even at other less qualitative resorts where food can be much more. Overall, the place was beautiful, staff are humble and friendly and the resort offers couples and friends great activities and a great vibe. The only negative is that in true Fiji time, hotel amenities in the room were not up to 5 star service.

My Husband and I stayed at Lomani Resort for our Honeymoon. All i can say is that its ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! Never have my husband and i ever experienced such fantastic service and hotel satisfaction! Its exactly what the photos promise and to be honest the photos simply do not to it justice! I love the fact that everything is done through room charge so it saves carrying around money and it also allows guests to feel like they don't have to tip the staff every time they give you a drink. The...

Stayed for 5 nights in late October and have nothing but praise for the staff and the facility. We stayed in one of the 2-bedroom lagoon villas on Thompson Island which, I understand, are all privately owned. These villas had their own pool area which was very quiet & secluded. The bedrooms have air-conditioning & fans - the living space just has a ceiling fan - can be a bit warm if there's not much of a breeze. Kitchen has a fridge / freezer, 2 burner hob, toaster, jug & microwave. The...

I’ve had the pleasure of staying at many luxury resorts in the Mamanuca Islands - but NOTHING compares to Tadrai. The staff are kind, generous and welcoming. The have lots of amazing stories to share and always go out of their way to ensure you’re having the best time whether wanting to have an adventure or just lazing by the pool with a cocktail for days. The rooms are so comfortable (request room number 5 if you don’t mind a small hike) as the views are phenomenal and the room is a little...

Before going to the Beachcomber Hotel we couldn't find many reviews online so we had to resort to personal experiences and comments from friends and co-workers. Most didn't have much more infomation besides it was the "party island" but still beautiful, since it's Fiji! We weren't really looking for a party 24/7, but wanted to have the option to party at night if we felt up to it. The Beachcomber was PERFECT for what we were looking for. It was our own private slice of paradise, we got a...

Amazing !!

We absolutely loved our week stay at the Hilton! Rooms were spacious and clean, and the resort itself was very well maintained. A special shout out to Mes and Joe who were part of the Recreation team - they went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic time, and included my niece in games and events even though at times she was the only child. The staff at Maravi restaurant were great, especially Ruei who was the best host, and part of the reason we went back to Maravi on our final...

Amazing resort-attentive staff. Bures were better than the promo photos. Food was very good although not a great variety especially for lunches-this was due to being brand new and both restaurants did not open together- this will change in next few months I believe. Transfers were easy and the resort has its own shuttle boats so time from airport to resort was about an hour. I would very happily go back for another visit!!

Fabulous time on Serenity Island Resort. Everything was perfect. The staff were all exceptional and did all they could to make our stay memorable. Probably shouldn't single out one person, but Sammy was fantastic...he really put his heart and soul into making us feel welcome. We loved the singing by the staff. Can't wait to return!

classy

This resort is staffed by friendly Fijian people who do anything to please their guests. The happy atmosphere is "rubbing off" on guest and we were a happy family. The managerress and assistant are doing a fantastic job, not to forget people behind the bar and dining room. The food is just delicious, the menu changed every day and there is lots to choose from. The chefs know their trade, it is an open kitchen and I could see how food is prepared, handled and cooked. All looks very clean. It is...

Extremely spacious and comfortable apartment. Very convenient location across the road from the marina and island ferries. Small pool and no outlook for us on the ground floor but it was marvellous to have a large apartment with fully equipped kitchen and washing machine and dryer while we sat out Cyclone Keni. Would stay here again for 2-3 days on way out or back from an island. Staff were wonderful.

Such a great resort with the most friendly staff. The food was amazing and had such a wide range of options. They had different activities everyday for guests to take part in and the staff were always so helpful and accommodating.

Our family of 5 stayed in the 2 bedroom villa. It was very spacious and clean. The highlight was the clean swimming pool and very friendly staff who catered to all our needs. The restaurant was also very accomodating and food was delicious. Bathroom is a bit outdated but serves it's purpose. We will definitely be back next time we visit beautiful Fiji!

I arrived for check-in by booking through Wotif, but the hotel was not officially open until the next day. The Duty Manager arranged a room for me despite that confusion and i was treated like a Prince. I was the single and sole occupant of the hotel and all the staff treated me like family. This Sofitel is a beautiful, first class hotel , amazing friendly efficient staff and beautiful gardens and surrounds . My greatest compliments to the management and staff

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights. Although a bit far from the happening places (this tends to be more due to how developed Fiji is), the room was in tip top condition and the staff are the best brownie points for this place. Awesome place, if you want to get away from screaming children and be at one with nature!
