Great place to visit

Our room was spotless and with daily servicing of the room was a bonus. It was quiet with easy parking outside your door. Outside bush land/weeds wasnt the best views. Perhaps upgrade to smart TVs?

Fantastic accommodation, one of the best weve stayed in - we've recently spent a fair amount of time travelling down the east coast from QLD and all over Tasmania. The park was clean, had everything we needed and seemed very well maintained. In quite a good position if you're planning to travel about the local region. Staff very friendly and helpful, shuttle service very handy, had dinner in restaurant which was enjoyable. Handy to airport and to the Motorhome company we used which they happily dropped us off to and picked us up on return. Would recommend this hotel for those travelling around Tassie.

Lovely friendly greeting on arrival. We had to leave early the next morning for my son's gymnastics comp and were told that breakfast would be waiting for us at 6.30, this was unexpected as breakfast is not usually served until 8.00. I couldn't ask for better service. You certainly wouldn't get a hotel offering you the same service if you were to check out early. Will definitely return. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

We were given an early check in, the room was good except the safe did not work.Exceptional service by the Reception lady Erica who was most helpful and caring. The Motel in Sandy bay was in a great position opposite the water and an easy drive to the city. Would recommend highly.

Very nice king sized bed and wonderful bath tub. The staff were really nice and upgraded us to a nicer room.

Very enjoyable stay at Discovery Park Mornington. Good location - provided easy access to the freeway; 10 mins to the airport or Hobart. We did day trips to Freycinet National Park (1.5 hours away), Bruny Island (40 min drive) and Port Arthur (1 hour away). Really relaxing, great place for a getaway, wish I had stayed longer, it really made getting off the grid seem like the ideal life.

Needed a place to stay after exploring the port Arthur historical site for the day. This cottage was in a great location and was very well presented. Very clean and comfortable to stay in and also a great range of snacks available for purchase in the room which were very affordable. Great spot close to water also!
