"Absolutely incredible stay. We done 3 nights and didn't want to leave! The place was spotless, incredibly homely and comfortable. There were even complimentary cakes and wine left for us. Honestly couldn't have asked for anything more. Our toddler loved having goats on our doorstep and walking down to see the pigs. The area was incredibly quiet and peaceful with nothing but a beautiful field behind us. The back garden with the hot tub is very private even though you have neighbours either side...

"The cottage was well located, well equipped and had some lovely little touches such as a bottle of wine on arrival, milk in the fridge, tea and coffee provided. Our children enjoyed meeting the various animals and the setting was very convenient and quiet. Regarded as one of the most impressive castles in Wales, visitors to Carew Castle can trace the structure’s history from Norman fortifications to when it became an Elizabethan country home owned by Sir John Perrot, possibly an illegitimate son of Henry VIII, before its eventual abandonment in the 17th Century. Several notable features have resulted, including earthworks created by Royalist defenders during the Civil War and window frames dating to Tudor times that were made of imported Cotswold stone that stands out against the local limestone used for the rest of the building.

"We have just had a fantastic 3 night stay at the Hotel Mariners. The location was perfect for travelling to Skomer Island (30 mins away) but still have the convenience of restaurants and a supermarket in walking distance. The room was spacious and clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. As we had not planned anything for our second day, we asked for suggestions and picked on seeing the lily ponds at Bosherton. The day did not disappoint and the views of the beach were spectacular. We ate in one night and the food was delicious. The only thing that could have improved our stay, was a more powerful fan during the extreme heat!"

"Read the reviews and was slightly put off. But having spent the whole weekend at the hotel, my mind was changed. Staff were very helpful with all questions and information needed. Grounds and views are lovely. Used the spa and pool and enjoyed every minute. Check in and out was very easy, food was amazing (especially the lamb). Will definitely be back to visit in the next few weeks. Only thing I would ask if bottles of water could be put in the annex room, as im very fussy and refuse to drink tap water."

"The staff were amazing. I can’t remember all their names but Carmen is the only name I can remember. She was kind and helpful. The chef(s) and kitchen staff made our stay pleasant, serving us delicious food throughout our stay. The rooms were clean but my only concern is that the doors are not soundproof so you could hear noise from outside. The pool was clean and warm and the spa was fantastic. It was a nice experience overall and worth a place to return to."
