The Heriot City Centre Apartments Review

The stay at The Heriot City Centre Apartments was amazing. I booked via Hotels.com and the check in went smooth. I was pleased by the cleanliness of the hotel. What I saw in the pictures before I made the booking was exactly what I saw when I was there. I will definitely book a stay in the near future using Hotels.com as it was so much easier and convenient. I will also recommend both the booking site and the hotel itself to my family and friends.

I was only thete to sleep for 2 nights. The bed was very comfortable. Check in was easy and quick. I arrived after hours a front desk security person checked me in. The room was clean. There was no fan in the room as indicated and no A/C. The bathroom sink didn't drain well. I had requested a hair dryer but that was not given. The tv did not receive any signals so I couldn't watch. Communication was a bit slow in responding to emails or texts.

Not the ideal stay. There are tons of people congregating about, day and night. Very few outlet plugs, so hardly anywhere to charge your phone and other items. Cleanliness around the building is a BIG issue. Although there is security, I wouldn't recommend being in front of the property at night. Talked with 2 locals who both got stabbed around this area. As for the unit itself, the bed was big so that part helped. But the shower water pressure wasn't the greatest, can get noisy at times since you're in the heart of downtown, I honestly wouldn't recommend this place.
