Wonderful luxurious stay at this 5-star property near Bo Kaap in central Cape Town. Delicious food especially at the top SA restaurant, Urchin. There was a mix up at check in but it was corrected by staff by the time I had finished dinner. Like all areas of Cape Town CBD, it may be uncomfortably with some people asking for money. Unfortunately there’s a wide economic disparity between the haves and have-nots.

Great customer service the staff was polite and professional. Breakfast was amazing lots of options to choose from. The sauna was also clean tidy. No robes were provided in room as well as slippers i guess they would have been provided upon request.

The staff was phenomenal, friendly and welcoming with a high level of hospitality and helpfulness truly made us feel good . One thing to make that 4 stars rating jump to 5 stars … is the upkeep of the room , i felt it had some old furniture and some items really didn’t belong to the place (like having a coffee table as a bed side table)
