The location of the property was excellent in quiet suburb not far from shopping area. The staff was accommodating, polite and always helpful, especially Sue who even gave us good advice about the trips in Cape Town. We really enjoyed our holiday in Glenhaven.

Lovely Guesthouse with great service!

We had a very comfortable stay at Glenhaven Guesthouse. We were really well looked after by Sue and Mustafa who were always really friendly and served great breakfasts every morning. The room was comfortable and we were lucky enough to have our own private trellis which was great for reading in the sun before getting ready to go out. Really good food options in the local area and a taxi into central cape town only took about 30 mins and was very reasonably priced. Would stay again!

Homey comfort in a friendly cottage in Newlands

The owners communicated well and frequently and were very welcoming and helpful. The staff were kind and welcoming and kept everything order. Shoutout for Mustafa's famous mushrooms for breakfast. There was a good bit of space with a kitchen area, sitting area, and garden in the cottage, all of which I enjoyed as much as the comfortable bed. It could probably use some updates, but I thought it was homey nonetheless. Oh,and you are walking distance to Cavendish and another small area with shops and restaurants, which is very convenient.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Glenhaven Guesthouse and will definitely stay there there again when I return to Cape Town. The owners were friendly and accommodating, the room was exceptionally comfortable, and the guesthouse was located in a very pleasant part of Cape Town, with restaurants and shops close by. I would definitely recommend Glenhaven Guesthouse to anyone visiting Cape Town.

An enjoyable stay

Comfortable room and a pleasant stay. Will go back. Would prefer shower to bath cos not enough head room . Excellent breakfast especially considering that we are both vegetarians. Easy going and friendly hosts.
