This property was not at all what I expected. There was a thousand stairs to the guesthouse which is terrible. This was not mentioned on the website Our room showed a view but there was a big tree in front of the view. The toilet in the room was enclosed with such a small space that the door could not be closed. No tea or coffee facilities in the room with only a communal kitchen. The room was clean but there was not even soap in the room as expected. Will not make use or recommend this quest house to anyone.

Venligt personale, fine og rene forhold, glimrende (+++) morgenmad
I should note, you do have to walk up 100+ stairs, but once you get up there what an amazing view from the balcony of your room ! The caretaker is so nice, helpful, and a great breakfast cook; and you are just a short walk from 'downtown' Muizenberg. Will certainly stay there again if the opportunity arises.
The room itself was neat and spacious. The stairs getting to the room was a nightmare and parking your car on the street in the open was not great. In fact, the stairs to the place is all open and feels unsafe. Breakfast was good but it feels like they are understaffed.
During our stay it was peaceful and comfortable, however be prepared for a lot of steps up to the guesthouse. Being a small guest house has the benefit over a large hotel of being more personal and friendly. You also receive a warm welcome from the resident dog, Bullet who is a bit of a character.

Hellhöriges und nicht gerade sauberes Hotel. Ausstattung ganz ok. Frühstück war hingegen geschmacklich sehr gut.

The entrance to the Bluebottle guest resort requires guests to walk up over 130 stairs, on a very steep incline with poor lighting in the evenings. This was not disclosed prior to the booking being completed. Despite requesting a double bed (and booking a specific room), we were given two single beds and it was very uncomfortable to sleep on with another person.

You have to go up a whole 120 flight of steps.
They need to be more creative on their breakfast. For the 9 days we stayed there we where served bacon and eggs mushroom and tomato. No change. They do not mention on the advert that the house is on a hill where you have to climb up 120 stairs. Imagine after a long day touring with 2 kids one of them a toddler going up the stairs. On arrival we had to carry out bags ourselves up that hill and when we left had to carry 4 beach suitcases down the hill. Not the best experience.
My family and I enjoyed ourselves so much. The place was very comfortable, nice and welcoming and I can recommend other guests to stay in that property. If I were to return I would go back to that same area and property/guest house. The manager also gave us assistance/information in everything we required around the area and was very helpful as she also gave us guidance in everywhere we wanted to go depending on what we needed. She works very well with all her customers and very friendy.
