"Fabulous stay at the Crown and the dinner in the restaurant was great. Staff very helpful and great bedroom with a very comfy bed !! My only disappointment was the breakfast choice which was pretty poor. If you are vegetarian there is limited choice with no option to order anything else off a menu. Limited fruit, cheeses and no salad available. Very disappointed and didn’t eat here on our last morning. I would visit again as everything else was great !"

"Nice very big rooms. Great breakfast. Quick walk to beach. Never found the swimming pool. WiFi very poor in my room but fine in main building. Parking was chaotic, they need to use paint to delineate parking bays and maybe book bays for overnight people."

"The beach view is obviously great, and the reason for coming here as it's affordable. The reason it's affordable is due to the tired conditions. The balcony was filthy and my partner had to clean the chairs with wet loo roll and the railings to lean on. The room itself was clean enough, although the bathroom didn’t make me feel like I wanted to have a bath, and i usually like to take the opportunity in a hotel. We didn't really enjoy breakfast, egg and bacon ok, sausages and hash browns not. I would rate it closer to 3*. I would stay again, because of the location. "

"A very well used hotel not as special as I had expected. The air conditioning didn’t work in the room and no windows that open. The windows were not kept clean and hadn’t been for a long time which was very evident in the dining and reception area. The swimming pool was not clean be it the end of day when we went into the pool. There was a considerable amount of hair and fluff floating and the changing area was not kept clean. Floors were wet and clumps of hair in numerous places. Thus I didn’t return to the swimming area. Breakfasts were not good. Eggs were over cooked and bacon too hard to eat. Not enough variety."

"Unfortunately this beautiful hotel is going into disrepair and needs renovations. Breakfast was average. Above all, they need to pay for cleaning as almost every corridor needs cleaning. Room was small but sadly not clean! I rather not to look at the radiator as it was full of cog-webs, spots, .. I love the location and the communal areas and live music. I always come back only for the good atmosphere."
