Staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are run down and the furniture is old. Tv and phone did not work. Curtains are stained and the carpets are old. Poor breakfast. Quality/price is above average though, but mentioning all the problems that should be fixed for customers to book longer stays or to return.

Property was convenient to our needs , except we where without hot water for 3 mornings. On the 1st morning I mentioned this to the desk , they acknowledged and said they had no other complaints and brushed it off ,as a one off. The second morning I, mentioned it again and they where apologised for inconvenience as other people where complaining. The following morning I left early and rang bell to let them know I was leaving, they told me someone would always be around, no response. I didn’t make it a big issue as in the afternoon / evening the hotwater was on. Luckily I took the opportunity. Not once did they inform me of any hot water issues , or say can we offer a complementary dinner.

The 1 objection I had was the fact that it’s a really hot day but the curtains were held together with safety pins and tied into place. Curtains definitely need to be replaced otherwise a perfect stay

Long queue at check-in and with only 2 staff involved this suggests understaffing. No bath towels in our allocated unit and, in spite of at least 3 calls to the office none had been delivered by 6 pm. Alerted a staff member in the restaurant about the situation and she procured 2 towels and got them to us. Enough parking bays for all units? Certainly not the case on the night of 27/01 which saw us parking at the rear of the complex where we were told the tourist buses would normally park. This area was unpaved and the surface was rough. This location saw us approximately 80 m from our unit.

Staff were great. TV remote was missing and was rectified within 30 minutes. Was a bit dirty (used tissue under a bed which was spotted while looking for the remote), but bedding and bathroom was clean. Would recommend.

The room smelled musty and there was mould in the bathroom. There was no kettle and when they brought one to me, it was broken so i had to wait about 20 mins at reception for them to find another one.

This property is hugely overpriced and I have no idea how they managed to get four stars. At best it is a two star property. It was like a tired old motel, with painted brick walls, small and dark rooms, uncomfortable beds, cracked tiles, fraying cords, and paper-thin walls. In our two bedroom apartment we had one two seater sofa, so we couldn't even all sit down. It was actually quite depressing to stay there. We have stayed in many apartment hotels in Canberra as we visit quite a bit, so I have a good idea of what things should cost, and I am still shocked at what we paid for what we got. Ignore the four star rating and the pictures - it's awful. Without a doubt the worst place we've stayed.

We got no sleep for our entire stay due to other guests allowing their kids to play in the hall way all hours of the Night and slamming doors, my daughter got her fingers stuck in the bathroom door opening it as the front of the door had come away from the frame at the bottom, the room was also constantly filled with ants that I had to buy spray to get rid of In the end we checked out a day earlier and requested a refund that staff member Roshni (not sure how to spell it) of the ibis hotel approved and said they would let Wotif know to send us a refund we still have not been contacted or a refund provided by either ibis or Wotif will not be using either ever again

Reasonable family accommodation for the price. Need more staff on for breakfast, one lady doing all the work. Pool is in shade of the building so is very cold even on a hot day. Probably would stay again though.
