"The hotel is in the perfect location for a stay in Carcassonne. Rooms are spotlessly clean, bathroom is modern with great shower. We were able to see the castle from our bedroom window, a stunning view. We had breakfast in the hotel every day. There are lots of bars and restaurants on the road where the hotel is. Lovely relaxing garden at the back. 10/10 will definitely stay here again. "

"I have stayed here on three occassions and it is perfect for my needs.this was my best stay . Staff are friendly. Room was lovely. Only downside was the batteries on remote were dead and there is no-one on reception at night. "

"We loved our stay in Carcasonne! The accomodation was in a perfect location for a stop on our cycling holiday along the Canal du Midi and had everything we could hope for. The beds were super comfortable, everything was lovely and clean, and Katy and her husband were so nice! The breakfast was also fantastic - highly recommend! "

"Very lovely location within the medieval city. Large room that probably could do with some refurbishment, as in other areas of the hotel. Staff were generally good but ordered a cab to the train station and the receptionist ordered it from the station to the hotel instead. If not for the cab driver making contact we would have missed our connecting train. "

"The hotel is a lovely setting and the main hotel appears to be excellent, resident cat that was the highlight of the stay and lovely dog, grounds are beautiful and lovely coffee. I would stay again with amendments; A few things holding the hotel back- rooms in a building a room over, clearly from hotels success but need work. No kettle/coffee or cups, but instead singular can of fancy water which was not replenished. Spa was a surcharge in 30 min blocks and not advertised as such and pool was closed but not advertised. It's not suitable for elder guests, as no lift and one elderly person in our ground fell down the stairs which are dark and not easy to see. "

"Great hotel and staff but just a little let down by the cleaning of the room. Felt like it had been a bit rushed, water not replaced properly, some little bits of tissue etc on the floor. Nothing worth bothering the hotel about but could have been sharper. Slightly disappointed as they have a “happy hour” that is 50% off the second drink, I worked it out eventually but too late for getting the benefit and other English speakers didn’t get it either (my French is ok but missed the explanation on the poster). I do think staff could have explained a little. Good modern hotel and great for the castle. "
