It was our first time on the Sunshine coast, and Rumba Resort was a great choice. We spent 7 nights in a one bedroom apartment. Loved the location and the apartment was great. We would stay here again, however, we would insist on or pay extra for an apartment on the beach front, not at the back of the resort (we had paid for a ocean view apartment). This is not because the only view you get of the ocean is through the gap in the buildings if you are lucky (we were), but rather the rubbish...

Stayed here for a weekend as the rates looked attractive and it was very near to the beach. What can we say? We were very pleased! The apartment is very large and the bedroom and bathroom are also on the HUGE size. The on-site manager was very helpful and couldn't do enough. Right in the thick of the action but reasonably quiet also. Great choice of restaurants and bars downstairs within 2 minutes walk. Highly recommended and would stay again. Well done Belaire Place!

Booked last minute for somewhere to overnight after a work party. After a nightmare hotel in Kawana last year wasn't expecting much. Pleasantly surprised, from the friendly staff and general cleanliness to the lovely room decor, a really good experience. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a cheap cheerful place to stay.

I stayed for 2 nights and wish it could have been longer. The view across the water is spectacular and oh so peaceful. Walking along the foreshore is the best medicine. Lots of very friendly locals to say hello. Coffee shops and dining so close by and courtesy buses to several local clubs are so convenient.
The resort is kept beautifully clean and staff are very friendly and helpful.
A great place to have a break at a very reasonable price.

We were extremely surprised, for $85 per day in that location, so close to the beach would be a dump! But everything was so clean, lovely small fridge, fresh towels, friendly staff, the manager locked the doors at 10pm, we felt save as well. We will be back!

Very nice hotel, friendly staff. Amazing pool. Only criticism would be thay need to have more staff on for days with a lot of check ins. People had to wait over an hour to check in because rooms were not ready.

The beaches, sunny weather and golf are just some of the things to enjoy while you're in the area. Activities and attractions to experience around Caloundra include Australia Zoo, Caloundra Events Center and Bulcock Beach. You might also like to explore more of the area and take in additional sights like Caloundra Street Fair, Caloundra Golf Club and Queensland Air Museum while you're here.
