Beautiful house

This property was perfect - the size and location was great and the home was so beautiful. Perfect for our group of 8 - everyone got to sleep in a bed! Helen was very responsive to all our questions. Would rent again.

Home away from (renovation) home

Our family of 4 adults stayed for 3 weeks while our house in Calgary was undergoing renovations. It was a lovely, clean, and spacious home, fully equipped with everything you might need. Location is spectacular. Helen was a patient, knowledgeable, and kind host - excellent and prompt communication from start-to-finish. The only downside was that there is no air conditioning (which we had known beforehand). The house has beautiful skylights and windows, but this made 30 degree days in July quite warm at night. We managed just fine with open windows and fans. Highly recommend to anyone looking to stay close to the University or nearby medical centres.

The space in the house was as expected, however the furnishings (mattresses, couches, kitchen utensils) and amenities (cleaning supplies and items like trash bags and paper towels) were very basic and minimal. We ended up having to buy paper towels and trash bags to make it through our 4 day stay. That is the only reason for 4 stats instead of 5. I would not consider this a “luxury” retreat but the rooms were as described so it met our needs for sleeping. Additionally the house was very very warm, despite having what appeared to be an air conditioning system.
