"I have stayed at this hotel a few times over the last ten years and every time has been wonderful. This visit was no exception. The hotel reception and other staff were so welcoming and helpful. Rowan the night duty manager was incredibly accommodating and we wanted to thank him personally for going above and beyond. Looking forward to our next visit to Cairns and hope to stay longer. "

"We stayed there 4 nights in an executive suite and found the room very spacious, looked recently renovated. The bathroom was huge with double sinks a walk-in shower and a huge soaker bath that we made use of. Bring your own bath salts or bubble bath, non are supplied. We found the bed comfortable. Our room had a view of the carpark with mountains in the distance which was not great, but it was on the 3rd floor so did not expect much. We just closed the curtains and you wouldn't know. Nice large TV. We did not try the breakfast but did have dinner at the Brazilian restaurant which did offer a decent discount for hotel residents and was a very nice dinner. The location was very good. The boat marina was just down the road, the Esplanade was right there as was many coffee shops and restaurants of varying types and prices, all within short walking distances. All in all we found it a very pleasant stay."

"Exceeded our expectations by far. The club level room was so worth the extra cash…the view of the water and marina was spectacular. The room is a little dated as is the rest of the property but it is immaculately clean and the staff incredibly welcoming. The breakfast buffet was vast with something for everyone (the scrambled eggs weren’t good though). Wouldn’t hesitate to return for another stay. "

"Our room is very clean and very comfortable, serviced everyday. We get fresh towels everyday, beds are done everyday, we were very thankful. Very close to everything. Public transpo is very easy $1 return trip everywhere we go, no need for car. Lots of restaurants near the hotel. Walk along the esplanade is the best thing everyday, hotel is overlooking the esplanade, only few steps away. Our stay was very convenient. Price is very good for the location. Peter(owner) and all the staff were very nice and very helpful. Place is well maintained. Close to all the attractions. Definitely will book again. Very convenient to everything we needed. Thank you."
