"This is an excellent location, about a 10 minute walk to the east gate of Belair National Park which is a great attraction. We saw great birds and wildlife there and there is a nice dirt path that takes you right to the gate without having to walk on the roads. There are a lot of homes nearby but it is a quiet neighborhood. We had laughing kookaburras right outside our window at dawn and dusk which was fun. The unit itself is clean and comfortable. "Love all the different eating/drinking areas to explore. We had lunch at the lobby bar. We went to the sports bar and had afternoon drinks while we watched FIFA. Dinner was at Wonderland-the food everywhere was delicious. The staff in all areas are very attentive. Thoughtful and attractive interior design and especially appreciated the attention to soundproofing everywhere-no echo or overhearing people’s loud voices."

"Room was fantastic, and bed was super comfy. Only complaint was that we found out we were near where the pub drops its recycling when we were woken up by the sound of glass being placed in the recycling bin at 6am. But I guess someone has to be near that side of the venue, and the stay was otherwise lovely. Breakfast was great too - way more than I could eat! Definitely recommend the hotel."

"What a beautiful hotel, we had a fantastic stay. Exactly what you want in a lovely historic old hotel in a fantastic location in the Adelaide Hills. Beautifully restored, fireplaces galore, great welcoming bar and elegant dining room with fabulous wine room. Couldn’t fault the hotel, our room was so cosy and comfortable, gorgeous large marble bathroom and balcony (Tiers room). Good provisions provided for continental breakfast and snacks, great location, short drive up to Mount lofty lookout and botanical gardens. Loads of wineries close by. We can’t wait to return!"
