If you want to explore the rugged North Cornish coast, the chalet on Penstowe Holiday Village is a great location being on the A39 Atlantic Highway and within easy reach of the picturesque Cornish fishing villages of Boscastle or Port Isaac or head north to stroll down the famous cobbled streets of Clovelly to the picturesque harbour.

Don’t forget our spectacular cliff top walks and the miles of sandy beaches with the Atlantic waves great for surfer in you and of course less crowded than the more famous surf beaches of Newquay
Kilkhampton is the village and near to Bude. It is North Cornwall on the Devon/Cornwall border.

Cornwall-immer eine Reise wert!

Das Häuschen ist gut gelegen-recht zentral-wenn man mit dem Auto unterwegs ist! Bude ist gut erreichbar-tolle Strände in der Nähe! Das Häuschen ist klein-aber ganz niedlich! Ich würde die Teppiche ersetzen gegen Laminat-und einige Dinge wieder in Stand setzen! Für uns wäre die Info wichtig gewesen-dass man den Strom vor Ort bezahlen muss-sprich-dass ein Zähler mit Münzeinwurf vorhanden ist. Diese Info sollten wir wohl über eine Begrüßungsmail bekommen-diese kam aber nicht! Wäre auch schöner gewesen, dies bereits im Inserat zu erfahren! Wir waren mit 3 Erwachsenen und einem Kind(5) dort. Der Ort selbst(Kilkhampton) ist nicht so schön-aber alles andere drumherum ist schnell mit dem Auto erreichbar und wunderschön! Parkplatzprobleme gab es nie und die Gastgeberin war stets bemüht, Probleme zu lösen! Wir kommen wieder!
