"Wouldn’t recommend at all. Firstly, the accommodation is based on a camp site which is not made clear on the website. The specific area is ok but all a bit run down. The garden in the pictures is shared between all cottages and despite stating pet friendly has a sign saying “don’t let dogs on grass” So yes dogs can stay in cottages but not sure where else they can go? We arrived and our first cottage absolute stunk of damp. We had to be moved and the second cottage was ok. Definitely not 4*...

"Lovely cosy cottage. All the contact with owner was very good and everything explained fully about the cottage. The parking was good but the roads out are very narrow and it’s a long walk into Bude on a busy road. The buses are unreliable too so we had to always drive into Bude which was quiet in October but I’m sure would be different in the tourist season. Overall for us we liked the cottage very much."

"The stay was very enjoyable and Bude was very pretty and near to property. Trying to get in touch with the owner before the trip was troublesome because of Vrbo and their pass words which never seem to work. That was the worst part of booking this trip."

"Claire's cottage is attached to the owners house but has its own entrsnce and is surrounded by a lsrge lovely garden with open views towards the coast. Comfortable and clean. Kitchen /living area has patio doods into garden. Good pubs nearby at Kilkhampton. Good walking on coast. Very helpful owners. No WiFi but good phone signal. "

"Carol the owner was a wonderful friendly host. I was told to contact them by phone before our stay and couldn’t get through they had their phone line cut so I was hoping all was well when we showed up. Sure enough key was in door when we got there. Great location, quiet, large enough for family although not much seating upstairs. Enjoyed our stay."

"The accommodation was beyond our expectation. The swimming pool ,the games room were a wonderful for the two year old we had with us. The drive into Bude was only ten to fifteen minutes with excellent beaches. A well run operation, the owner welcomed us in. We intend to return with other members of the family."

"Helen and Jonathan are lovely people and have made Honeysuckle Cottage home from home. We have 2 dogs and there were blankets, bowls, towels, even treats provided. There's everything in the kitchen you would need along with complementary bread,eggs,milk and afternoon tea. There's also books, dvds and toys. The folder with local walks, beeches, takeaways is really handy especially if you have dogs. The Hot tub is an added extra which we're glad we chose to take. So relaxing, we will definitely be...

"An adults only site with a wide range of types of accommodation (and prices) to suit all needs. Really accommodating and helpful on arrival. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The apartment has everything you require and is well designed and finished to a high specification. Situated in a quiet village it is easy to access Bude either by car or on foot (50 mins - 1 hr). Lots to do and see in the area so if you want to explore or just enjoy the tranquillity this is a perfect base."

"Property is as described. The bedrooms are quite snug. Literally walking room around the beds but adequate for our needs. The walk into the village is about 25 minutes but that is through fields and woodland walks so do come prepared especially if the weather is not so good. Overall though accommodation is as described the host was very pleasant and as we wanted a quiet setting a great week was had by our family."

"A late summer getaway that was as good as we hoped. Hidden away in a green and peaceful valley, the property was 10-15 minute walk to the beach, where there was 2 cafes and a pub, all that we would recommend. Plenty of walks, but remember the signs on the post are distances as the crow flies not the distance as you go up and down the valleys! Final note the cream teas on arrival delightful."

"The property is spacious and very clean and well equipped, there were four adults and we had ample room. It is in the most beautiful setting with fabulous views of the countryside and coast. It is so peaceful with places to sit outside to enjoy the views. It’s a fantastic location although a bit tricky on roads as Cornwall often is!!! "Wonderful property and extremely unique. A floor plan on the website would be useful as 2 bedrooms downstairs and interlinked as well as only 1 shower (downstairs). Very comfortable and warm but could do with some updating (downstairs bathrooms and bedrooms quite damp and mouldy)"

"Our family of four had a delightful week here in August 23. Not really got anything new to add as there are lots of great reviews already which I agree with. Something we really appreciated was the informative property description in regards to amount of steps and where they are as our eldest has mobility difficulties but isn’t a wheelchair user and such little details are really helpful, thanks."
