Shorncliffe Travel Guide

Tourist Guide

The popular Shorncliffe Pier has been rebuilt and is looking classy and charismatic as ever! The original pier was built in 1883 and has been closed to the public for the past 4 years as it was dismantled and its sturdier replacement was constructed. Although it's newer and whiter, it looks just the same as before, only better!

The refurbished Shorncliffe Jetty. After 4 years, she's about to be reopened to the public. Coinciding with the Bluewater Festival and the Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht rate, the jetty looks mighty fine. On the north side of Brisbane the jetty juts out into Bramble Bay and Moreton Island can be seen on a clear day like today. Why not visit.
Shorncliffe ride
Sunrise at Shorncliffe jetty, or what's left of it. The @brisbnecitycouncil are rebuilding the jetty so everyone can enjoy the area again. A favourite place for locals and visitors to do just about anything. Great parklands and child friendly. Looking over to Moreton Island which is only a ferry ride away. To see #goldenhour get to your destination about an hour earlier and wait for the right time. It's worth it.
