Was working in Caboolture on the weekend and needed somewhere to stay overnight. Chose this motel due to price as it was a little cheaper than the motels in Caboolture. It was our first time on the Sunshine coast, and Rumba Resort was a great choice. We spent 7 nights in a one bedroom apartment. Loved the location and the apartment was great. We would stay here again, however, we would insist on or pay extra for an apartment on the beach front, not at the back of the resort (we had paid for a ocean view apartment). This is not because the only view you get of the ocean is through the gap in the buildings if you are lucky (we were), but rather the rubbish...

Very nice hotel, friendly staff. Amazing pool. Only criticism would be thay need to have more staff on for days with a lot of check ins. People had to wait over an hour to check in because rooms were not ready.

I stayed for 2 nights and wish it could have been longer. The view across the water is spectacular and oh so peaceful. Walking along the foreshore is the best medicine. Lots of very friendly locals to say hello. Coffee shops and dining so close by and courtesy buses to several local clubs are so convenient. The resort is kept beautifully clean and staff are very friendly and helpful. A great place to have a break at a very reasonable price.

My husband surprised me by booking our anniversary night at your beautiful hotel. All staff were delightful, fun and graceful to all guests. I had a massage before dinner and the masseur (sorry, can't remember her name) was fantastic. Dinner was delicious and each course was eagerly looked forward to. Next morning breakfast on the terrace overlooking the garden was perfect. We will definitely recommend your hotel to all our friends and hope to spend more than one night next time.

Lovely, up to date accommodation in an excellent location with fantastic staff. Competitive rates and would highly recommend. We will definitely be back!

We stayed here for a 1 night weekend away with 3 young children and it was enjoyable. The 2 bedroom room on the 3rd level was self contained with wifi and plenty of space for the children to play with their toys. Only 1 block away from the beach and walking distance to a variety of restaurants for dinner, as well as McDonalds (a necessity for breakfast when travelling with children :) ). The only small downsides would be that both bathrooms had showers, no bath which would have been nice to...

My family of 2 adults and 4 children (13,11,8,6) recently stayed at Oceans for 6 nights and found everything wonderful. I have stayed at quite a few motels over the years and this bed was heaven. Room has simplistic layout that makes the best use of the room space.

We enjoyed eight nights in this spacious two bed room two bathroom apartment with seperate laundry and lock up Garage in the basement. The Kitchen is well stocked with cutlery, crockery and utensils. Microwave,electric frypan, older style stove,fridge freezer. 50"TV and two seater lounge suites in the Lounge. Lounge opens to a deck with table and chairs perfect for breakfast or Happy Hour before dinner. BBQ and heated pool . Rose and Shaun are very helpful Managers and go out of their way...

A good stay

Our room had the latest mod cons and was even nicer in person than the photos shown online! Great location near the Westfield for dinner and IKEA.

A nice, modern hotel within a few minutes to the beach and Mooloolaba shopping/dining precinct. We stayed in a 1 bed apartment which was spacious, well appointed and very comfortable. A user friendly Tv/entertainment setup was great. The room was also very quiet. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others. The only thing that would be preferable would be a larger pool, but that encourages you to walk across the road and use the beach!
