Idyllic Tuscan Paradise with Magical Gardens

A green, lush haven amidst beautiful flowers, big shady trees, lush, sumptuous grass all set in park-like gardens. With no near neighbours the peace & quiet is yours to enjoy, the perfect place to feel your stress and worries just melt away, there are even a few hammocks to help out with this. There is nothing more peaceful than the sound of birdsong gently floating on the breeze, interrupted by nothing. No noisy neighbours, no barking dogs, no sirens, no rowdy youngsters, just serenity all around. The amazing caves at Tantanoola and around the area are wonderful to explore, as is the spectacular Umpherston Sinkhole. The famous Blue Lake in Mount Gambier is amazing and be sure not to miss the Coonawarra wine region as well. There is as much, or as little, to do as you would like.

Explorative wonderland! A feast for the senses.

What a beautiful property! We had an hours-long tour with Kathy, the caretaker, who lives in a cottage at the back of the property. There was so much to explore! The kids loved the pool. We played tennis. We walked, and walked, and walked. Quirky, and fun! Kathy and the team go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Beds were comfy, and lots of care taken to keep the place clean and visually interesting. Enjoy!

A magical, romantic getaway! We loved the wood-fired pizza ovens, outdoor fire, fruit trees, and baby lambs. Cozy spots everywhere, and a lovely manager. Only disappointment was the unheated indoor pool. Still, an unforgettable experience!

Simply wonderful family break

The perfect remedy to stressful life. A couple of nights here and I honestly feel renewed. Sophie is just wonderful, the most warm, thoughtful, welcoming host. Never intrusive and so lovely to have around for beautiful garden walks and chats. Absolutely everything you could want or need is provided. Our 5 year old daughter loved it too. Everyone says it but we will definitely return here and highly recommend this property as the perfect base for exploring the region. Ideal for families, fur babies included. You won’t regret booking this one!

A home away from home

For someone from the country, this beautiful old home was perfect for us. A secluded little paradise, it can feel like there's no one else in the world at times. Perfect as a midpoint stay in the limestone coast. If you like getting cosy on a very comfy couch by the fire at night, you'll love it too.

Just what we were looking for

Sitting on the super comfy couches in front of the softly crackling fireplace, reading a good book while the rain fell gently outside is our definition of heaven. The winter weather didn't allow us to enjoy everything this wonderful place has to offer, but we didn't mind - just one more reason to come back.
