"The stag was incredibly friendly. The location is really great. The room that we “upgraded to” was tiny. They also told us when we checked in they upgraded us further to a nicer room than we purchased but I didn’t see how that could be. The room was just a bed with a small desk and a bathroom. Again, great staff, great location but the room itself left something to be desired. We could clearly hear the people in the room across the hall as if they were standing in the bathroom talking to us....

Directly following that experience we arrived at your hotel 2:30 am in the morning . "Smaller but very comfortable room in Riomaggiore. Beautiful view of the town and marina from the window. Staff met us at the train station and escorted us to our room (a short walk away). They helped us get our passes for walking the trails in the Cinque Terra and our pass for the via dell amore to Manarola. Owner and staff were very friendly, spoke english and were very enthusiastic to provide helpful information, recommendations and directions to insure we had a fantastic experience there."

"Dreaming of visiting Cinque Terre for years, we finally made it. I booked our room in advance, and got a great room at Scorci did Mare on the top with the balcony. It was everything I hoped for (plus lots of steps). We went out and walked around, brought a fresh Italian snack back and sat on the patio overlooking this beautiful city. I will be back. There a lots of hills and stairs here, be aware. The bed was hard compared to USA standard but it's normal for Italy in my previous travels. "
